Given the strange symptoms I keep experiencing with my injections, would it be prudent to use a blood glucose meter to see if my blood sugar is dropping drastically and causing these effects?

I have a blood glucose meter my uncle used. Found it among his stuff packed in boxes, has a bunch of new test strips with it.

Never used one before, so not sure exactly what to do.. if it'd be a good idea to use it, how do I go about it and how do I know what the readouts mean?

Only if you use it on the end of your penis. Seriously, the cough come from knicking veins. Maybe it's time to try a different injection site.

3 times in a row though... what are the odds? its not just the cough... its the dizzy spell, the drunk feeling, the sweating, etc... im just trying to find a solution or explanation. at first i thought it was just a nicked vein as well, but how or why would it happen 3 times in a row now, where the last 24 or so have been fine?

I'll follow your suggestion though, I'll try a new spot next shot and see if it happens again.

How many injection sites are you using?

How many injection sites are you using?

only been shooting glutes, each side once a week.. however i shoot two different areas in each glute (higher up, and a little lower).

think maybe the areas are just at the point where they need a break? ive been shooting the lower area because the upper area was getting sore, and since (passed few weeks or so) there hasnt been any post injection pain, so i thought the sites were ok.

.... try the ventro gluteal. There's pretty much no nerves and no significant veins to speak of.

ventro glute... still havent been able to figure that one out.

ive been worried my delts cant handle 2-2.5cc of oil. i also find it extremely awkward to reach that way. ive tried with practice shots, just holding the empty barrel w/o a needle.. i find it really difficult to hold that position and push the plunger.

Obviously, you need to use more injection sites. Stick it in and get it over with.

... and yes I always feel anxious about a new injection site too but you gotta do what you gotta do.

you can pin 2cc on shoulder, or 1.5 in each the same day, and about quads, I love quads

there's no need to use a glucose meter. Sugar isn't your problem; injecting yourself with gear can't suddenly deplete your blood glucose level. Stop being irrational.
