I just want to keep my hair nice, thick, and full. i sometimes notice single strands of hair in my shampoo or hair gel but havent noticed anything major. I'm running test/tren but havent noticed any hairloss when just running test before.

would picking up some nioxin help? If so, what level should i get? Also, fina is a no with tren right?

If you're predisposed, there isn't much you can do. If not, you'll never lose it. But there is that new (well not so new now) beta blocker. It block another receptor more than propecia. I can't remember it right now as it's been a few years I read about it. But it might help.

Proscar 5mg 1/4 a tab a day. Protect the prostate as well.

The sides from tren from what I have heard as I have never used it....happens mostly at the end when your coming off the tren for some reason.....so be prepared. lol

Is that dutrasteride you're talking about? its not approved yet in canada unfortunately. Apparently it does provide more protection tho. I've been looking into it myself.

^^ I've also heard it works better but I've also read studies that say it'll make you sterile........

Before considering using finasteride or dutasteride, (5 alpha or beta reductase enzyme inhibitors) you have to consider the mechanism by which it works. It blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. The theory being that the dht form of testosterone is more suppressive of hair growth and is the agent normally causing male pattern baldness.

If you are starting with a compound that is already derived from dht (winstol for instance), the blocking of the enzyme will do nothing positive, and in some cases, like nandrolone (deca), may in fact do more harm than good.

The bottom line is that 5-alpha or beta reductase inhibitors like finasteride or dutasteride, work best with testosterone, and testosterone alone. Be sure to thoroughly research their effect on any other AAS you may wish to combine them with.

i heard that if you take fina with a dht derivative it will either A) do **** all or B) accelerate hair loss/

Any one use nioxin or nizoral?

They are just shampoos...people say they help but hell there just shampoo made for what they ares suppose to do. It's not going to make your hair grow back or even thicker.

i just want to prevent any more hair falling out, i still have a thick full head (and want to keep it that way). I have really thick hair naturally which is a big PITA as i have to get it thinned by the stylist every few weeks or i get the white fro' going on so some thinning is welcome. I definatley am not looking to regrow any. Also, I have no idea whether or not I am predisposed to MPB as my mom only had sisters and her dad didnt live past 30.

However, Ive only noticed a small bit falling out (1-2 strands / day) as style it, etc. But ive picked up some fina, nioxin, and saw palmetto.. ill hold off on the fina until i give the nioxin a go and saw palmetto a go. Better safe than sorry.

I'm hesitant to make suggestions that are more hype that proven. For example, there are androgen blockers that can be applied to the scalp, ranging from Nizoral to spirolactone (??). There are also drugs that promote hair growth, fully independant of androgen caused, like minoxidil. You can buy minoxidil at Costco fairly cheap, and stronger mixtures in the states or mail order. But I'm not convinced these work, or work very well.

Do you ever wonder why, if any of this pharmaceutic shit to re-grow hair actually worked, and worked well, for one lousy person out of the millions of men who have tried it, why the pharmaceutical companies wouldn't take advantage of it, and show how it actually worked decently for one man? I'm talking one man who actually regrew a decent head of hair, not these pictures that show how 30% of the men who used it grew a "statistically significant" amount of new hair (as it, some small improvement but nothing any rational person would call decent). Its amazing what the pharmaceutical companies can get away with. Imagine how well a household cleanser would sell if 1/3 of the people who used it were able to see some small amount of dirt removed? What a joke.
