I'm on a cut right now, and with the combination of fasted cardio, and a heavy weightlifting program I've been maintaining a pretty good diet.
Breakfast - 1 Full Egg, 2-3 Egg Whites, 1 Cup natural Oatmeal, 1 Banana
Pre-Workout - 1 scoop Whey Isolate
Post-Workout - 2 scoops Whey Isolate
Lunch - Chicken breast, 1 Cup rice, 1 vegetable OR Salmon, 1 Cup rice, 1 vegetable OR Tuna sandwich on multigrain bread with mustard, 1 vegetable.
Dinner - Same as lunch options, sometimes beef is consumed instead of chicken or salmon.
Now, for my question. I find later at night, within 2-3 hours of bed I get hungry. I have no idea what to snack on just to fill my cravings until the next morning. Should I just eat a green vegetable ? Low-fat yogurt ? What ?
I've tried drinking a bunch of water with the amount I've consumed through the day, but it doesn't help at all, I find in turn it just makes me more hungry. I'd rather not eat another can of Tuna in the night even though it's what I used to do and it worked. Any suggestions ? Something low carb and fat, with a significant amount of protein OR just something that won't do much harm to my diet and still satisfy my hungry.
Thanks.
