This question is for those of you who have used clen/t3 and have dealt with the repercussions....

I'm currently using clen as part of my cutting cycle. So far the simple increase of 20mcg's every 2 weeks is more than enough to keep me on track in combination w/ diet, obscene cardio and training.

I'm not likely to go much over 100mcg's per day. I find myself wondering about what I should expect in terms of rebound and thyroid function.

It's my understanding that the clen will affect thyroid function and that people commonly take t3 to prop themselves up while taking clen.

I have not been using T3 and have not been planning to at this point.

I have read that people come off of clenbuterol best by tapering. This seems reasonable in terms of minimizing the crash but what does it take to get the thyroid functioning at normal levels again and will this result in an overall significant weight gain post clenbuterol as the result of a retarded metabolism?

Am I setting myself up for a long term t3 habit or am I over exagerating the impact in my head?

I have used clen by itself and I have used clen/t3 once. Anytime I have came off clen I have just come off it at the dose I maxed out at. Whereas, t3 requires a slow taper down. It is fine to come right off the clen. I think you are over exaggerating this. The only thing I noticed when coming off clen is that for the first 2-3 days I feel slightly more tired.

I`ve never used t3. Clen by itself is very effective. Instead of increasing by 20 every 2 weeks, I increase it by 10 every week or so. Because just 10 mcg increases gives me a kick, so I like it better that way. Didn`t taper off this summer last time I used it as I was just sick of taking test, equi, hcg, arimidex and clen. Was sick of having to take all that stuff on top of my over the top supp regimen, lol...

sorry to hijack here, but Ritch, i always wondered why you take all those OTC supps when you're on gear? like doesnt it seem like a waste.. we take those thigns to mimic the effects of AAS, so why, when you already are on the ultimate drug, do you take other supps?

I`m talking about creatine, vinpocetine, vit c, E , b- complex, magnesium, zinc, glucosamine, nootropics... It was just getting to me having to split the arimidex caps, the hair loss pills, the whole injection prep and paranoia I had with every shot and fear of infection. I just don`t think it`s for me. But none of those things are hormonal, so the supps I`m taking are like essentilas, kind of... Besides that cycle I did was far from ultimate, unfortunetly.

If you taper off clenbuterol correctly you will not see any thyroid issues causing weight gain. There may be a mild inhibition while taking clen but nothing that woudl cause th feedback loop to reduce thyroid output.
Once finished the diet cycle reduce to 20mcg twice daily for 10 days, then 20mcg per for 7 days, then 20mcg EOD for 7 days...done.

Would that be the same for t3?

Tapering T3 is also a must....drop to 25mcg daily for 10 days, then 12.5mcg daily for 7 days, then 12.5 mcg eod for 7 days done.

For those who have cycled clen solo and clen/t3 how did results compare

It will help yes but dont expect to drop all kinds of fat just because you are using clen. It assists in fat loss...you still need to be on a strict diet and doing cardio as well as your regular training. Lets say over 8 weeks you dieted and lost 15lbs...with clen you might lose an extra pound or two at most.

And in all honesty I don't use clen or T3 when leaning out. A solid nutritional plan, extremely hard training and if need be some cardio/HIIT and you'll get lean....no secret just plain old hard work.....

i agree that there's no substitution for plain old hard work but on the other hand I've experienced almost magical results when clen is added to the plan assuming meal plan is dead on. T3 on the other hand has never been great for me.

Using Clen alone using P.'s dosage protocol i think it supported my fatloss tremendiously, i also got strength increase and my muscles were fuller (felt more dense).

diet was in check using the palumbo template.

cardio i was following a simple cardio time increase over weeks.

Without clen i would probably have achieved similar results although the muscular hardness/density and strength increase was unplanned for on an intense keto like this.

Used as an aid and putting in the work it does wounder.
