Long story short I used to be over weight, and now I am bulking really for the first time and hesitant to eat a ton (on a consistent basis). Realizing that fixing something like loose skin happens over time should I..

A)Do a slow bulk?

B)Dirty Bulk (not a fan of)

C)Simply follow what I have been doing in hopes of it fixing overtime

Depending on what you mean by loose skin you may be sol. For many the tummy tuck is the only answer.

This is an example of a gentleman who is one of Shelby Stearnes trainees preparing for his first show @ 7 weeks out. His skin will likely not recover. If he were to maintain his new body composition for a year or two it MIGHT improve a little but at this point it is simply stretched.

I would hope to not have to resort to that for as long as I can, my only concern is my wanting to get into bodybuilding.

I was actually supposed to be doing a novice show at the end of march but financially was not able to support it. Ultimately deciding the money I did and do have remaining would go to school.

Edit: he has however seemed to make a lot of progress, and I see it as I may be able to help my process by filling out the skin with muscle.

The thing with me is the time I have on my hands, I only turned 20 on the 14th of january so I will be a junior competitor even throughout next year. And at a current weight of about 200lbs thats ok I believe..

My honest advice would be do your best and don't fuss the little things for a novice show. Do your best and then get up there and have fun.

While people tend to be critical at the provinicial/national level I would suspect that what you will get at the novice level is feedback on your presentation and recommendations on what weaknesses to work on if you ask the judges. Only the biggest asshat would criticize a novice for things they haven't had the time to develop or genetic limitations.

I can definitely agree with that, I have learned for the most part how to drown out the "asshats" sort to speak. I have a years time and then some until that point so novice show or not I will have ample time.

Well at 20yrs old, skin will bounce back nicely the longer you're leaner. Personally i would never do a dirty bulker if i were prone to large increases in stomach weight gain.
Your best bet is a controlled and well planned bulk diet.

barely 20 at that, but ya I am the same way with diet, I tried doing DC training. So I am a big believer of if I am going to follow a certain type of training then I should follow all aspects around that. And I am sure most people know their view on food..

No need to stuff myself if a little bit less food is going to still help increase the gains etc and possible hold a bit of condition.

You know the only thing that kind of plays on my mind is that if I eat a meal, or start to retain a lot of water, my conditioning goes like that. In the same day If I go to workout, I can have vascularity all over the place etc.

But when I have striations on my shoulders and feathering in my left quad I know I am ok in the condition department.
