Just about to head to the gym, I'll throw down an order when I get back for 25lbs :D I've had just about enough of this EAS 100% Whey (Chocolate) that I can handle aha
Edit: Just ordered 15lbs of Choco PB + 1lb creatine and 1lb of AAKG. I want to see how it taste before I make big orders. If it is as awesome as they say; there will be a 50-75lb order coming in a month.

I was using EAS as well....not very nice. Taste wasn't the greatest, clumpy. Wasn't impressed with it.

Yeah the EAS Protein is probably the worst I have ever tried for how clumpy it is. You can feel the chunks as your drinking - makes me gag sometimes.
TS protein doesn't clump at all I had gotten samples of their Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry like 1-2 months ago, all were pretty good and mixed very well.

Good to hear. I picked some up, order should be here today or tomorrow. Looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks for the mini-review.

If I remember correctly, you're on the East coast, correct?
That's what sucks about being centrally located in Ontario! Everyone that is on the far West and East coast can expect the shipping to be at the upper end the shipping policy (5-7 business days). :(
However, we're trying to find solutions to this issue with the CanadaPost or whoever else is willing to work with us regarding this situation.
Although, I have a feeling that the only way to solve this issue is to open multiple shipping hubs in Central, Western, and Eastern Canada. As of right now, that is a future endeavor, but hopefully a realistic one. Hopefully, in the very near future this could happen for our customers and we will be able to ship express to everywhere in Canada where it will only take 1-2 business days!
Hopefully, with all of your support we'll be able to accomplish this for all of you and our future customers! :D

Yeah, but in reality Canada Post just does a poor job imo. If I look at my tracking status - it hasn't even been updated in 24+ hours (since it was pretty well initially dropped off from you guys). Basically they take too long with their 'item at processing'. I only live ~18 hours away from where you ship from.... yet it takes them 7+ days usually. Even Amazon who is located in Mississauga, ON (15hour drive) took 9 days once which is absurd and is a norm with them anytime I order.

^^^I hear ya bro! It's a work in progress for us to find the best means possible! We're still new and CONSTANTLY looking for new and improved ways to offer better service to our customers! Right now this is actually one of our main goals...to find a solution for the shipping durations to the far East and West coast cities!

I wouldn't worry about it TrueSupplements.com, it is not your guys fault. It's your job to get us the product then ship it. After that it is out of your hands. You guys did your part, took the order and shipped it very quickly.
In all honesty I would prefer you kept one location and kept prices down vs having to spend extra money and potentially having to boost prices. I myself have no problem waiting a few extra days to keep prices down.

To some extent, I quite agree. I've made orders to both Victoria, BC, as well as Ottawa, ON. Both came quite quickly by CanadaPost standards. It makes little sense to me for people to be upset about shipping which is pretty much always free and always reliable. If you really need your supplements, order earlier.

this. I use to order off of bodybuilding.com. Try waiting 3 - 4 weeks for shipping, than try to complain (on top of being charged ~$40.00, before I discovered sights such as ts.com though)

I've had American companies mess up customs forms, spell my name wrong, and mislabel products. I waited for over 5 weeks for a box of protein from one company last August. I'll never buy another supplement from south of the border again (unless TS doesn't offer it).

no doubt, I'd support canadian companies like SND, or suppscanada.com, but it's just hard because I can't justify their price one bit. TS has great prices, which is their main selling point IMO (5 lbs of a protein blend with a MINT profile for $35, come on.. )

Yeah, I never usually buy from Canadian sites because of the crazy prices. You can order from American sites + shipping and its like 20$ cheaper then buying Canadian.
I however will be buying everything from truesupplements.com now though :D

I went into True the other day and he had a small sample of the choc pb. Ive tried at least 5 or more differnt kinds of choc pb and i have to say in all honesty 1 scoop in about 400ml of water was amazing. Shook almost instantly, no clumps, tastes good and def pb, no disgusting aftertaste. Being a skeptical person i give the choc pb flavor at least a 4/5 for taste and 5/5 for value and ingredient quality.

have you had any other choc pb's to compare it to? Isoflex makes an AMAZING product, and even though the price isn't exactly comparable, is the taste? Does it have more PB, or more choc? Is it like liquefied Reese puffs as I've heard? OMG I'm so excited to try it, anxiously waiting for my order!

How much milk or water do you guys add to your Choc/PB TS protein? I've been trying different amounts and just can't seem to get it right. Either too watery or much too thick. I'm trying to find a mixture that will make it taste just right. Tried it with milk today for the first time, and for me, milk makes it taste the best. But to be honest, it's not as good tasting as the others make it out to be. I just finished a 5lb tub of Ultimate Nutrition ProStar 100% Whey chocolate, and it has been the best tasting protein I've tried so far, hands down. And not sure why some report back that they can hardly taste the pb. To me, that's what I taste most. Funny how different people taste/sense different things.

Everybody's got different preferences, but I found the TS PB to be very bland. The Isoflex PB was much better tasting, of course much more $ too.

Fourarms, give us a little more info. How much water did you mix it with and how much powder?
Our first run of chocolate PB, we had a lot of people saying the taste it was on the stronger side. LOL
If you feel it could be better (ie. stronger PB taste, stronger chocolate taste, or vice versa) we need to hear it! We can like all day long, but what matters is if you guys like it so let us know what you think and we'll try to tweak things. Don't forget, we have control of flavoring and we're a company that is proud of the fact that we are willing to work with our customers to deliver a product that you guys really enjoy and in the mean time is keeping your hard earned cash in your pocket!
We totally understand that we simply can't appeal to everyone, but we try our best! :D

This was the last batch of PB. Went as low as 100ml water/scoop, was almost as thick as pudding, but taste was still very weak. I had the chocolate flavour last time, liked that one.
Added this on edit:
I don't mean to shit on your product, everyone has different preferences, I just like more flavor I guess. Price, packaging, and shipping were all good, and I will definitely be buying from you again, just not the PB flavor.

For me, I thought it was lacking in the chocolate taste. This is going to sound a bit odd, but it almost tasted like "bad" PB, if you will. Kind of almost a "smokey" taste. Tough to explain. I've tried water from 100ml to 400ml and the flavour doesn't change too much, just the thickness. Tried it with about 300-350ml of milk, was better, but still as good as I was hoping.
I will buy again from TS, as every other product I've tried from them has been great, I just may opt for the chocolate or strawberry flavour. Like someone said, they can't please everyone.

Well, now that you ask.. :D It makes for too thick of a shake, and if someone were to ask my to try and guess what flavour it was (without looking at the package), I wouldn't be able to, which is probably the worst thing you can say about a flavour. More pb, a bit sweeter, and try to come a little closer to reese's pieces IMO, because that's what I'm sure we've all been hoping for.
Just placed an order looking forward to checking out the chocolate pb iso whey

As far as improving the flavor for Choco PB, I would suggest making the flavoring stronger (especially the PB portion). I would try to maintain the same consistency and thickness with it though. I love how the shakes are a bit thicker.
