Yesterday I went for an information and training session with the guy who runs the Tri-Fitness shows in the US. His name is Al Rosen. (here's a link to the site
http://womenstrifitness.com/trifitnesschallenge/ )
anyway, have any of you heard of trifitness? it was REALLY cool!... there is real functional athletic ability needed to compete!.. it's cool... thjere is an obsticle course, with hurdles and a wall to climb, a bench press competition, box jumps, shuttle run, AND a physique round AND a fitness routine round!...
you can compete in as many or as few events as you like...
anyway, the session yesterday put us through the paces of almost all the events (couldnt really do the wall climb at the facility here in wpg) but if anyone hasn't heard of it... you should check it out!
I'l TOTALLY sold... I want to compete in one of the shows!
BEST PART.. there is no "pro status" for winning, so you can still do CBBF shows without fear of being judged down for competing in a rival competition.
