As some of you have read, I have my list of items I plan on purchasing from TS. I've had some recommendations as to serving sizes for pre and post drinks/shakes.
Here's what I was thinking (and please let me know if I should be doing something differently, or I should be mixing certain things together):
Pre-workout Drink:
5gms AAKG, 5gms citrulline malate, 2.5gms creatine mono (and possibly 5gms beta-alinine if I decide to buy it). Now I'm not sure what I'm going to mix with it to give it some flavour, but I have no doubt it would taste either really bad or really bland just in water.
Post: 2.5gms of creatine mono (or should this amount be increased, I'm not looking to take in too much creatine a day, I've read 5gms a day is plenty), 2.5-5gms of a carb (either dextrose or waxy maize) to aid in absorption. This will be taken as soon as possible post-workout.
I'd then follow up my creatine/carb drink with my protein shake, or should the three be taken together? I'd like maximum absorption and not have my body fighting to absorb each product.
Thoughts? I appreciate all input so far, it's been really helpful.

What are you doing anyhow; dieting, bulking.. looking for "lean gains", maintenance???
Pre: on an empty stomach have 300 mg caffeine (3 x 100mg "wake ups", local pharmacy; 4$ for like 100) and 1g of l-arginine. Eat some food*.. carbs and some sugar and go workout like mad.
Post: 40-60g protein from whatever whey isolate you prefer, 40-50g dextrose (1 tbsp = 10g; it's a 1.25/lb at bulk barn) and 15g creatine mono. Drink that atleast within the hour pwo and be done.
I really find that`s a weak pre workout routine. Plus you can buy 100 tabs of caffeine doses at 200mg each from Truesupplements. What is 1 gram of l-arginine supposed to do? Please don`t tell me growth hormone release, lol...
But I like the KISS principle...

I bring my coffee with me to my workout. I've usually got 2-3 meals with 1 of them being a big protein shake in me before my workout so I don't feel the need for much other than my coffee. Post the whey isolate, creatine, dextrose seems like a pretty good recipe.

Up ur creatine intake to 10g a day 5g pre 5g post if ur buying ur protein from TS it taste great no need for any kind of flavouring almost all the supps are tasteless so their easy to down, u can also take alll the supps together they all do different things.

Who knows how much caffeine is in the NO products, but the synergy between the ingredients is likely what makes people think there`s so much caffeine in them. At one point I`d take 200mg of caffeine with the no shotgun. I`m guessing there`s about 100mg of caffeine in shotgun. Because if I was taking more than 400mg of caffeine, combined with the nootripics and stimulants in shotgun I`d be getting ****ed up sides. That never happened. I`d even take 8-16 mg of ephedrine with 20mcg of clen, with the shotgun and extra caffeine. And lastly at one point I was adding extra arginine ethly ester and creatine ethyl ester to the shotgun. Never noticed any extra benefits from adding those however. I put in about an extra 5 grams of arginine and 3 grams of creatine.
So for those who complain of the taste of the original shotgun, try it with the extra cee, then tell me how bad it is. I don`t recommend you do that off the bat, I threw in each ingedient one at a time and slowly brought up the doses.
When you combine nootropics, stimulants and caffeine the effects multiply. Arginine is a thing of the past if you ask me and does jack shit for muslce growth. If anyting, I`d add some nootropics like tyrosine, dmae, vinpocetine to a pre workout plan. Some ephedrine (low dose 8-16 mg can put you in overdrive, wihtout sides like adrenal burnout.
But definetly agree with the diet thing...
But to anwer to op`s question, drink the carb and creatine drink post workout, then wait about 10-20 minutes and have your protein drink.
Confusing shit this can be...
