I dont know about you guys, but the hardest part for me is not the calorie deficit per se,but its when you're making the transition back into bulking.OMFG,the hunger is unreal.I would say 10 times worse than dieting alone. And of course this is the stage where you need to be the most careful or the rebound will put back most of the lbs you lost during yor diet.Your body is in "survival" mode so to speak..meaning it wants to stock everything you give it in case you go hungry again. Not good..well at least for our purposes..

It seems i want to eat everything in site and it is getting the best of me.I seem to have no control even though i consider myself very disciplined. The carb cravings are unbelievable but luckily im able to stay on track and eat only what im suppose to eat for that day.But Most of the time though i feel full, but i still feel the need to load up and load up until i get sick!!!.How do you guys deal with this???I know im still doing cardio twice a day..and drinking tons of crystal lite and coffee.

Well so far ive gained 14 lbs in 6 days.I still look very good..well actually better cause im more filled out,but i look maybe 1%bf less lean.I know most of it is water that went back into the muscle and some of it is food and waste inside my body. There might be 1lb of muscle and of course 1-1.5lbs of fat.Ive lost a bit of definition where my abs are,but im still pleased with what i have. Its just that i need to take things into control NOW..

Personally i've never been able to do it but the best way would be to have a structured plan just like when you were dieting to lose... this time you're dieting to gain.
Historically post contest for me is an all you can eat disaster that puts me back to square one within 1 month. Every time i tell myself i won't do that ever again but every time i just can't control myself. I hate letting food control me.

Pretty sure it was a woman who invented food thus having full control of said evil.

yeah.. but your square one is still what 99% of the population strives for!!

I NEED a diet. I've had one I've been following since september for bulking.. I stick to it 100%... it's more difficult for me than the "skinny" diet pre-comp. 2 weeks of all you can eat disaster, 2 weeks of mild indulgences with a "plan " of eating, then 2 weeks of easing back into the program... then 100% ON bulking diet with 1 cheat day a week...

(4 more weeks of bulking, then I get to see what's hiding underneath all this fluff!!)

For the first few weeks after dieting I only eat carbs every other meal and smaller amounts maybe 30g. Let the body adjust slowly or you will run into issues such as peripheral edema which is very dangerous. Uncontrolled eating is just losing control....you were able to diet....use the same will power and control the hunger after. You have to pretend you are still dieting and slowly make the adjustments back to offseason...the 6 weeks after dieting is one of the best time to put on leam mass. Also avoid any type of junk food....I still incorporate 1 cheat meal per week only.
