View Full Version : Sugar snap peas.
These are a delicious snack when eaten raw. I find them very convenient and tasty.
They contain about 4g of sugar per serving and 2g of fibre. What kind of sugar is in peas? Glucose? Does it affect blood sugar levels or is it too low glycemic?

sugar would be sucrose. sucrose is half fructose and half glucose
What pisses me off is that the big bag from costco starts to turn brown after about two days.

Weird.
Mine last 10 days at least. Keep the bag sealed and keep them in the crisper drawer of your fridge.
!
they are quite high in fibre so im guessing that at least half of the sugar calories dont really count. i will continue to eat them religiously
