nothing practical. it obviously took some time to practice the turns, but its not really impressive as....say a guy taking a z06 for a performance run and keeping it on its wheels at 250km/hr around a corner if you know what i mean.

this is more for kids who think a little smoke around a corner downtown is cool. i would have been more impressed had he took that course at high speed and not drifter, or lost traction control with the road

I regularily go out and watch the guys on track days (I've even done a couple of runs in the parking lot) and yes keeping the car fast is completely different than drifting. Being fast is about picking the right line and being smooth. That said, I thought the car handling in the video was pretty remarkable.

I would be willing to bet that the guy driving in this case could just as easily be on the track driving smooth and clean or rally driving like a crazy man in a little subaru.
He can drive.

drifter's got some skills for sure... especially goin under the tractor trailer, that was very well done.

not sure what's up with the paint balls though... and running over the fluorescent bulbs released a bunch of mercury vapours which is pretty stupid.


buuuuuuut.... it was pretty well done aside from that. didn't make me want to go to the website or shop for DC wear though.

Not sure if you guys know who Ken Block is but he is not just a "drifter" he has done some crazy stunts in cars and rally racing. He is a pretty established dude. He is one of the guys that helped Travis Pastrana get into rally racing.
