Awesome movie. Probably one of the best of 2010. I highly recommend it, really good action scenes and it held my interest throughout. It definitely didnt feel like two hours.

I agree with the above! The ending was crazy! I must watch it again to get a better grasp on any forshadowing they did throughout the film.

I found it funny however, when i walked in and saw a row full of inbread trailer trash, i knew they were not going to get it. Sure enough, after the credits started to roll they were bitching about going to a better movie next time.

I agree, I really liked the movie. Although I wish they did a little more background history on Eli, besides that name sticker inside his bag that said KMART. And considering how they left it off with Mila Kunis's character, I think they could have spent some time on him training her.

But I definitely got a vibe from the movie, can't wait for the DVD to see what extras they'll add.

Yeah there were a few short ends to the movie, I can only wish it was longer, ending made me come back to watch it again, I dont want to spoil anything but wow, I cant believe he was ***** the whole time.

But you dont need to know anything more then what they told you about Eli, just that he was a messanger told to travel west. I dont think I needed to know anything more, if we did get more background about him then we would have known then ending of the movie. Um I liked how they did her character, it was just enough to know that she is now the messenger. Eli pretty much taught her everything he knew when he recited word for word the bible, while she was there listening.

I have to agree with Dexter Dano on this one....

A tad too disturbing for me. Although stylized ultra Violence can be done well.... the situations depicted in this film left me feeling sick. (i.e. rape; or the circumstances leading to it).

It had it's cool moments.. Not surprised with the Box Office numbers across Canada.

Didn't like it. Their attempts at making a violently artful film failed miserably. I haven't seen Denzel do a decent movie since Man on Fire.
