Yes, this is a very disturbing movie, but if you can get past it and flow with the story, I think it's one of the best movies ever made on the matter. Some really good actors you may not recognize at first, but give it more than 10 minutes of your time. The story is incomparable. Raw reality you'll never forget. Don't take your girlfriend to it. When Lara Flynn Boyle plays a nasty junkie hoe to the best of her ability, it's something to see, for the art, not the nastiness. The rest are just as good. I was emotionally drained. You'll never see another movie like it. If you can make it past the beginning rape scene, you'll appreciated it.
