Had a pretty big piece done last Wednesday. Starts from the left side of my neck and runs right down my shoulder and all the way down my arm.

The tattooist said I look like a pretty big guy and asked if I was creatine or something. You should have seen the amount of blood. He's been tattooing for many years and said he's NEVER seen so much blood. Looked like a horror movie lol. Gotta be water retention.

Anyone else ever experience anything like this?

You are just a bleeder or not a bleeder. I had one tattoo and I got the same comment, got another and barely bled at all. Luck of the draw, never found gear has any impact.

Ive had a few and barely ever bled. To have had the bloodiest tat this guy has ever done makes me think it was water retention. The blood looked like water downed streams of blood. It didn't look thick. Ahhh who knows, it was an experience I won't soon forget regardless..

Were you taking at medication that will thin your blood? Or were you drinking?

i'm pretty sure that AAS can make it more difficult for the blood to clot.. but i could be wrong

I have a few large tatt's and I got one done on my back on a big cycle and not only was there more blood, but my skin started to swell up as well. And with my other ones, very little blood and no swelling. Same guy did them all, and he does alot of tatt's for some frigggin big guys, he said he can tell when the guys are on.
