Are you a cooking student or just have experience? There should be a tonne of places here in Calgary hiring cooks.

If you want to do grunt work lots of warehouses in the SE hiring...Sears, Totem, most of the lumber stores, even larger furniture stores for delivery drivers, warehouse etc.

if you can find a better alternative id stay away from warehouses, at least long term... good pay my buddy did it for a while but ****ed his back right up and some retard with a motor cart almost severed his leg

The warehouse was Rona on 17 ave se area. I believe starting was $15.00 there abouts.

If you like outdoor stuff all the golf coarses should be hiring soon for grounds keeping help soon as well.

if you dont mind grunt work, purolater normally is always looking. I work for them in Edmonton. They are union as well, mind ya starting isnt the best about 14.55 or something, but after six month you go up just over 15$ and then six more months youll be at 18.31. Plus ok perks. as well that is wearhouse pay. Couirers make after a year almost 24$ a hour, so just remember that lol
