Its on sale at costco again, $31 for 2Kg (4.4lbs) just bought 4 tubs last night. Their sales dont last too long so stock up. I buy the vanilla flavor, tastes great, mixes very well without blender. I mix 3 scoops into 400ml of whole milk no problem.

probably should clarify which brand it is. I'm guessing its Kaizen which is pretty good stuff and works out around $8/lb for isolate before tax (last time I picked it up on sale anyway).
There is also another brand which is about $10 cheaper for the same size which is maybe garbage...never tried it.
fwiw, i think vanilla tastes like shit no matter who's brand it is :)

Its the Kaizen Isolate.
as for the math ... $31/4.4lbs = $7.04/lb + tax = $8.02 w/ tax/lb
I didnt like the taste at first, but you get used to it. I usually down my entire shake in 1 breathe so I generally try not to taste anything. All protein tastes like shit to me, so might as well get the more affordable iso.

If you guys are looking for a good deal on an isolate, without having to buy an entire garbage full of it... I have a couple 5lbs tubs of MVP Isologic left for $135 when you buy 3 tubs plus GST. It's top notch stuff in SB, Van and Choc... it's just the old style label and bucket that MVP has recently changed... so I am clearing this stuff out for only $9 per pound... I will all also include $25 worth of MVP single pack pre workout drinks!
I don't have much left... so it's 1st come 1st served!

i wasn't aware of the costco deal but that's wicked.
i buy power gym brand whey isolate from walmart. $35 for 2kg regular price. goes on sale for $30 sometimes. taste/mixability are both quite good in my books.

Keeps me full for 3 hours... it probably isnt the most efficient way to take your protein but it works for me.
