Seems like the new fad is to start eating raw food as it is healthier and you get more out of the food.

Anyone here a raw food eater? How's that going?

There was a pretty decent raw food restaurant in Toronto... was either on Dupont or Davenport. Was actually very tasty, though it's a lot of preparation work, and takes a lot of creativity to make the food taste good. It's also vegetarian (obviously) so it'll only get you so far, but seems like a worthy addition to any diet to gain some more nutrition.

I could see myself trying raw steak, but just seems like it would be wasting a good steak... Raw ground beef is just disgusting to think about it. I`m keeping an eye on this as well through superhumanradio. Good show!

I have sashimi ( raw fish) atleast once a week. There's a sushi place in Halifax that has the best sushi. I usually get salmon, octopus, red and yellow snapper ( all raw) it's delicious.

i heard that SuperHuman radio podcast too, i don't know. I see the possibility of getting sick pretty easy off raw chicken. I like my steaks rare, basically cooking just the outer layer to kill any bacteria there. The inside, since it is sealed somewhat, should be fine. But the one guy who has eaten chicken laying out for a few days going rotten and uncooked?? that seems like a recipe for trouble... but perhaps I'm wrong. I would like to hear more feedback from people though, seems interesting

In canada you'll have a tough time getting raw milk. Farmer's face a $100k fine for selling it to you. Fresh eggs are easy. The special treatment for beef is to make sure there is no special treatment. Find a local farmer you trust and buy the meat directly from him.

I have no problem buying the raw veg argument but I'm sceptical about raw meat being better, or easier to digest. I'm very curious, but it's going to take more than one podcast to convince me of the value of raw meat.
