Thought majority of people did it for the quick cash for a couple years and then took some time off due to it being very physically draining!?

Yeah at first thats what i said .... no more than 2 years total , then i saw my first paycheck and was hooked on the cash ..... for any wanting to start rigs all i can say is that it is not worth it !

I'm so used to working 6 1/2 hr. a day, a 12 hour day would kill me. I thought you guy's on the rig's made more than that.

Damn, 7 grand is good but factor in boarding/food etc and it comes down to just a decent job for heavy work. Not worth it in my opinion. I don't mind working for a little less but not having to die doing it.

Yeah pushing is good coin but the major setback is you wake uo in the morning and you're automatically at work , the oil feild is not worth the personal sacrifice

Although 9 years on a single I would of hung myself by now.

If your working in the same area or in an area for a while then moving to another reg area why dont go in with someone on your cross shift and rent a place close by so you have a proper kitchen etc to cook in?

There are lots of solutions to your rant here man you just have to be willing to do something about it.
