lol, and modest too...

honestly i don't understand the whole bodybuilding attitude. Way too many egos... i hate it actually.

I don't know how many of you have ever made it down to the arnolds. This is probably the most humbling place to go as no one has their lats flared, no one's holding their breath as they walk...because you know right around the corner is someone that is bigger and better condition then you...

People have to learn to work out for themselves and no one else...i really want to make the attempt to get on stage but in the big picture its a competition within me and not with anybody else. If i can say at 36 after having diabetes for the last 33 years that i can get into the best shape of my life then anything is possible for anyone!!

Getting better....Things are seeming to sway to a more bodybuilder environment, rather than a girls i slayed area....lol.....Which is nice to see.....
Im looking forward to you peeling it up, youre an inspiration to many of us that think a regular diet is tough, i cant imagine doing it with a condition like you have bro....Props to you man, i know it motivates me when im feeling bad for myself.....If that makes sense....

fit226
11-02-2010, 12:15 PM
yeah somedays are definitely better then others...thanks it encourages me to know i may be an inspiration to others...THATS WHAT MOTIVATES ME!!...

the diet is going decent...have strayed away from the humalog insulin and just trying to keep in close check with the humalin N...i find i have to do way to much humalog to keep my sugars in check and too much insulin = fat... (a little lesson for all the other lil boys and girls..humalog is not the cats meow!!) Have to try and do this without any sort of fat burner to as i have learned that they just jack my sugars too much..too much sugar = more insulin = more fat...it's a vicious cycle i tell ya.

So at this point i am trying to do it as slow and smart as possible..we'll see what happens but i always say if anything goes astray health wise..it goes on the back burner again as a trophy to me is just not worth it...I have Vegas booked for the day after the comp so worse case scenerio if i don't get on stage i'll be in shape for the pools in Vegas!!..

Nationals is still up in the air for me, it's in Saskatoon, so way far from Windsor which means expensive! Plus i've moved up a weight class this offseason so it might be my advantage to wait another year to really let the muscle mature as most of my weight i think landed in my legs. I'll be doing the WBFF World Championships though for the exposure it'll create.

BUT, you and Vinzi have that perfect balance of mass/aesthetics that I think most of us wish we had...

Obviously, some of us have genetic barriers that can never be surpassed, but we make the best of what weve been given... you two(Im sure there are others, but these two are freshest in my mind) are what BBs should look like... big and in shape...
