Hello,

Does anyone here know where to go to get lab tests done? I am in SWO. I have been searching online and I haven't found much information. Detroit or Port Huron seem to be good alternatives.

For blood, your doctor. Or you can pay and go to like a Naturopathic Clinic, I believe you can get blood tests done there

Depends where you go, I read that theres like two consolations where its like 150 for the first 100 for the second. I believe you can get the blood test done in the first one its included. And each additional visit is like 65 bucks. But dont hold me to that as I never went further than looking on their websites.

I'd just go to my doctors and ask for it. it's free.

As everyone said, OHIP should pay for your basic blood work. Extra stuff you'll have to pay for but it's very affordable. No need to cross any borders for it.

Sorry for my ignorance, but given that this is the first time I am requesting these tests, I am not sure how to approach my doctor. Should I simply say that I did a steroid cycle and that I want to check that everything is in normal range?

.... only if you wish to be denied coverage by your health or life insurance if you ever have to make a claim or require extended coverage.

This can be a bit tricky depending on the doctor. Some will understand what you want and get you tested, others will moralize and piss on your head. My doctor just runs the test without asking why.
