Hey guys! last cycle this summer , i torned a couple fibers in my pec.. did like a big cracckkkk and couldnt push anything for 2 months... I did this because i was benching 315 incline.. my sets. Since then , im being very careful and I lift lighter.. About 225-275 incline ( depending if im resistance training or mass ) .. Yesterday, i was doing 225 x 15.. and crackkk.. the other pec tears at the same place and the same f***ing thing! Wtfff how can this be.. I lowered my weights and im very careful.. and bang the other pec rips! Omfg! I still have 6 weeks remaining of my cycle.. Cant touch pecs for the rest of it :(

What do you guys think if I get mgf or long IGF-1 ?

Any tips or thoughts why did this happened, would be very appreciated ! Thanks alot! :)

could be many things..
bad form..
not warmed up....
still to heavy....
not recovered from last workout...
just to name a few.

the only way to fix it is time off...not more substances.

Form was good , i was warmed up , not too heavy .. but not recovered from last workout is possible... because Mondays i do chest/back .. tues : Shoulders/legs .. Weds : Chest/Biceps... Thurs or friday : Back/Triceps ( note triceps i do dips and also Close grip bench press .. also making more stress on pecs ) .. But those substances would only speed up the healing process.

Criss que tu es pas chanceux Eman.lol

Seriously though, why do you train 4 days in a row like that.Of course you are not going to recover properly.Unless you have no choice,I would then say split up your days for more recovery.Plus you're doing chest twice a week..that would be a bit too much for me,especially in the fashion you are doing it

And as for the IGF,its not going to work..and even if it did,it would be so minute that it wouldnt be worth the money.Rest it,work around it..then once healed,go slow.Thats all you can really do bro

regarding rickyboy36 igf1-lr3 has been proven to work.. weather it would help this or not that is another thing but it has been shown to work decently...

as for Skyblob can you tell me what your incline chest workout would look like.. this includes warm up sets

Yes,some people have had success with it,but the majority didnt feel any difference. So thats why i said it wouldnt work. Now if you have a lot of money and want to try it,then i say go for it.But othwerwise be patient and let it heal on its own.

i've heard those that dont have success with it just need to up the dosage on it.. some are more sensitive to it than others.. not sure if there is any truth to this or not though

Not enough recovery bro. I did the same thing in 2006. If its really bad id consider getting an MRI - even if you have to hit a privagte clinic. The chest is a big muscle group, you need at least 2 full days of rest between workouts.

Were you touching the bar to your chest doing inclines?

The problem is you are training chest too frequently....you dont need to train it more than once every 7 days. Whether or not your form is goodo is debatable... I would bet it could be improved. IGF-1LR3 will help to some degree with tendon and muscle repair but it is not magic....you need rest, ice, ART as soon as possible to avoid scar tissue that will tear easily in the future.
You need to revamp your training or this will continue to happen.

Well, here was my chest routine :
Monday :
3 sets warmups
3x 8-15 (depending resistance or mass) Incline Smith chest
3x Flat bench press
3x Incline BB flies

Friday :
3 sets warmups
3x Flat BB press
3x Incline machine press
3x Flat flies

**Note that I always do 1 minute non stop stretching after workouts.
Yes I think that you guys are right, I didn't had enough rest and I over estimated my body. Till now, i'll train my muscle parts only once every 7 days like Prae told me!

Et non jsuis pas chanceux esti ! :P

Big thanks to you guys! Im putting ice for 10 mins every 2 hours! When should i put hot?

at best, you hit chest three times per week, and often two days in a row

Once the swelling goes down from the ice, then you put heat on it to get all the toxins out. Then later ice again and repeat.

dude they're giving you the correct advice. Stop being stubborn. You essentially trained chest 4 times per week for who knows how long.

I had an inccident with my right pec major, and it was classified as a type II strain, which actualy means 25% of the muscle has been torn... i heard a crack in my chest when supersetting chest and back but funny enough it was when i had the chest plate pressing against my chest when useing the back machine... anyway, i think you'll heal alot faster with the test/EQ thats coursing through your viens, i wasn't on anything, but i still upped my protien and glutamine to a rediculas degree, but i was still out of commission for 10-12 weeks! massage it, cold and hot compress it, stretch it out 3 times a day, get an ultra sound from your physio... shit like that will help.

If u have a tear u don't stretch it out 3-4 times a day

If u have a tear u don't stretch it out 3-4 times a day

well obviously there will be the first couple of weeks were you can't even lift 10lbs with that muscle... i couldn't even lift 25lbs for 6-8 weeks or even do cardio for the frist 2 weeks after the initial injury... after 3-4 weeks the torn muscle started to ball up and shit so i went to a pysiotharapist and she gave me stretches and massage's to do, weird ones, ballistic stretching actualy and compresive massage... so ya, you won't be able to do shit for a while but eventualy you'll need to put yourself through some sort of physio. oh and i don't know if this helped, but at about the 10-12 week mark i was getting really ****ing pissed and i started a cycle of anavar, i think it may have helped... all in all it took about 14 weeks to get back to normal, and this was just a type II strain!

I feel way better already a month later, I think my tear was not that serious but it still reminds me that it is there when I try to push with it

how long should a person wait before doing stretching exercises again?
