The things people post on Facebook

So ever since i've been on FB i've been amazed with what people will share in their status updates, from really personal issues to addmitting to crimes.

Yesterday i logg on and see a old friends status, and it reads. I didnt include his name due to him being innocent until proven other wise.

" ..Heidi stole $500 from me and left me with nothing. So i burned her fathers house to the ground and all of her presious possetions along with it. She will never get that stuff back. and i don't regret it one bit"

So this dude is now charged and in jail awaiting his date with the judge. He posted this right after he set the house on fire yesterday. Another friend seen it and called 911 to see if any fire had been reported at this girls address, they had no report of it at that time. 10 minutes later 911 called them back to ask how they knew this house was on fire.
Anyone else have any good "status update" stories??

I have come to the conclusion that, for the most part, people are idiots and that FB has a higher proportion than the average population. This of course has no scientific basis but simply conveys my experience.

I am completely and totally addicted to FB. I couldn't live with out it. :D

I use it , but hardly update my status - people don't really give a F waht I'm doing anyways. I use it to basically stay in touch with my family since I'm on the other side of the country.

But I know what your sayin , there was an email going around one time with pic clips from fb and the status updates didn't even seem real.

Search Craig Lynch. This man escaped from jail then proceeded to post messages on facebook, laughing at police for not being able to catch him. Although he finally was caught not sure how much later though. He was on the run for awhile
