I'm looking for some anti stress supplements that would help me calm down and focus. I tried Rhodiola and it seems to calm me down a bit. The problem is that I don't need a sedative, just something that would numb the feeling of worry, if such a thing exists.
I also considered some homeopathic stuff, like V-C15 here, but I haven't tried it yet:

I like gaba too. I also use phenibut once in a while and usually stay stress free with a nootropic cocktail including stuff like DMAE, piracetam, L-Phenylalanine, L-Tyrosine, acetyl-L-Carniyine. Most of the stress is decreased because I'm alert and sharp, handling things on time or in a timely manner.

^^^ I`ve never used acetyl-l carnitine. What do you find it does for you?

Yeah, I tend to agree with this - get everything done, stress goes away. I've been using this:
http://www.vitabase.com/supplements/liquid-supplements/focus-formula-liquid.aspx
which has a very similar ingredient profile. But does anyone know which stores in Canada (Toronto) carry nootropics like DMAE? I'm tired of waiting for mail order stuff from the States to pass through customs.
I would also replace piracetam with oxiracetam, I get too much blood flow to the ears from piracetam.

You do know oxiracetam has stimulating properties and is more of a study aid... Piracetam didn`t do shit for me. Went up to 8 grams a day for weeks on end.
No stores in Canada will carry DMAE, it`s illegal.

Phenibut works very well and in larger doses is kinda like a GHB feeling, but a word of warning if you take a high dose 3+grams you will feel like gold but the hangover from it the next day is equal to that of a huge bender.

Ashwagandha is an ayurvedic herb that helps control cortisol, and has a calming effect.
I take it after workouts to lower cortisol levels, and it helps bring down the caffeine buzz.

5-HTP worked very well me...even helped me to sleep better. However, it is expensive. Maybe some of the brothers here can recommend a cheaper source?

How much are you paying now for your 5htp? Are they 50 or 100mg caps and how many are in the bottle?

200mg is a whoping dose. I get by well on 50mg caps. But the price you`re paying isn`t that bad as that should last you a good 2 months.
Truesupplements has them at 100mg and 90 caps go for about $25. That would be a good 3 month supply. So $10 a month is not much really if you ask me.
Out of respect to the board I won`t advertise for any US sites but NOW does make the 50mg one`s. If you do some searching, I`m sure you will find them. But when you factor in shipping and duty for just that one supp, it won`t really be worth it.

When you weight almost 300lbs, 200mg is consider normal :), I take it twice a day...hopefully when I stop bulking and drop to 250, I'll be able to take 100mg to get the same effect...:D

You may also want to look at Rescue Remedy. It helps with anxiety/worry, etc.

Higher doses of 5-HTP is used for mild cases of depression as well.

This has been getting ridiculous lately. I'm finishing another round of keto diet and every evening and around 4am my heart races as if I'm running a sprint. I feel like my chest is hollow inside and I'm really stressed out. Thing is, everything in my life is great, so I don't know what is causing this.
I tried taking some ZMA, but I can't take it for prolonged periods of time because I get winded. Any adaptogenic gives me headaches (I have genetically low blood pressure). This is off the hook, not sure why this worry came back so quickly.
Anyway, ZMA calms me down, maybe I should up the dosage?

Not really sure what your issue could be. Maybe some sort of electrolyte imbalance due to the low carbs?
Anyway I have heard that black tea has some cortisol lowering ability.

Any particular brand? I think I'll try this next. ZMA has calmed me down a bit, but the buzz is still there. I like Quest anti-stress, works well too.

You can get lean xtreme which is 7oxo and pes erase which is both an anti-cortisol and suicide aromatase inhibitor. Works like a charm

Chaps is on the money with phosphydatylserine in that dosage... however that can get expensive
The best I've found is a combination of:
magnesium chelates 2g/day (mag glycinate, mag orotate, mag aspartate, and mag furmarate)
taurine 2-6g/day
and you can always add green tea which is cheap and easy to come across
