He didn't really do anything other than try to make more excuses.
If he had any brain at all, he'd admit he was looking for an edge and ask forgivness.
Instead, he's claiming it was for theriputic use ( BS ) and it had no impact on his stats.... I guess him and every other juicer player setting records at that time was just a coincidence.
just pisses me off.

i watched him talk with costa he's reasons for use were pathetic...i think it was better he didnt say he used and let us all know he did without him admitting to it

Thats exactly what it is.
A one dimensional player like McGuire SHOULD NEVER be in the HOF. When a player like Alomar didnt get in this year (who actually the best 2nd basement to EVER play the game, all his stupid reactions aside).

Exactly! If he gets in all the other guys that juiced should get in also. Barry Bonds is one that comes to mind considering this guy had a lot more tools than McGwire.
They will ALL eventually get in.
But i'm with Tex , who cares.
Except Pete Rose for betting to win.

I still don't get that Pete Rose thing. He bet on his team to win and that's wrong? I would think that betting on the opponent would be wrong....

The league has a rule against betting,period...

I think that MLB should be thanking the athletes that juiced. Steroids saved baseball IMO.

Nobody really knows what he bet as far as I know. He denied betting on baseball for years, and now he's only telling half the truth.

Completely ruined legitimate records IMHO.
IMHO the commisioner is as guilty as anybody, everybody knew. Kinda like fight sports now which are not properly tested, everybody knows but its making $$$.
I don't have any problem with AAS, I just don't like to see clean guys get their records broken by a bunch of cheating liars looking for glory and $$$.
