Any chance of a break on these shipping rates to Canada. Very good prices on some of the harder to find products, but once shipping is factored in almost not worth it.....

Any chance of free shipping coming into the equation with a minimum order amount?

We used to have a Trueprotein manufacturing and distribution warehouse in Winnipeg. We ship alot of packages to Canadian customers, USA customers and worldwide customers. UPS came to us presented us with another scenario where we would do it all inhouse and be distributed in Canada very quickly and efficiently. We prepay all duty and taxes for Canadian Customers, and rapidly ship daily huge pallets of orders to the UPS distribution center in British Columbia. From there its distributed to multiple UPS hubs in Canada (Calgary, Toronto etc). Our Canadian customers seem to be very happy with this system and we have run it for a number of years now.

I still find there shipping to be rather high... For my order 25lbs it was almost 40 dollars US for shipping rates.

Have you heard anything back ironwill?

I just got a email from True Protein about shipping and where its coming from, this is what they said:
"Unfortunately we ship our packages from Oceanside, California. We ship UPS so that you don't have to pay any taxes or duties to receive the package. Thanks."

Yes I wrote DC, and basically he said that they are selling their products at very inexpensive prices and there isnt room for movement on the shipping...Shipping is at his cost, no markups...
For instance 25 lbs of cold filtered whey isolates at 8 dollars/lb is still only 200 dollars...I think that would be tough to beat.....Now 40 dollars shipping, im still way, way ahead of the game...Thats my opinion anyway....

Personally i made orders with a buddy or 2 and saved big time on shipping that way....
