what a coincedence I am always getting these emails from people whom I have never met telling me that I have thousands of dollars just waiting to be wired to my account. All I have to do is send them some personal info and a small fee to release my supposed windfall.

Guys...im not saying that Talo isnt sending us legit stuff here, but becareful by typing in your NAME.We are on a bodybuilding board and using illegal substances and you never know whos behind a "link".I dont think it would be a wise choice typing your full name out unless you are 100% sure you know what you are doing
Just saying..

exactly what i thought..and posted something relative to that a post earlier
I'm not sure what they could do with my last name and first initial, and if they wanted to scam me they'd be telling me that I have money and what processes I need to go through to claim it. Anyway, just my thoughts. You can do the same search on the Bank of Canada website if you want. :)

It's just something that was on Global this morning. They said it's legit and there was atleast 4 people in Alberta that had a total of 25,000 coming .
I typed my last name only in and 2 people came up . One guy in Ontario that had 26.50 coming and another that had just over $400.
I think it has to do with old savings , investments , etc that have been sitting in accounts from past jobs that people have forgotten about.
I know I've got money out there from a past job - wont be much , but I do need to contact them.
They also said that more and more companies are starting to use this site - Looks ok to me. They ask for nothing more than your name and like I did I only used my last name ( which isn't very common ).

I just put in my info and I have $50 unclaimed from a former employer. Seems legit. I think I will call the bank involved.

I believe the Bank of Canada has a similar service so go through their website. I did before and no cash for me, but some relatives.

I just found my BIL $2000 here. I think he owes me a beer.
I got the same names with that link you posted Randy.
Thanks it's a nice double check.
