Is this to help develop women's posting as seperate or is there something different about nutrition in women that I don't know about.

I spent 20 minutes at the cosmetics counter with my wife yesterday and realized that makeup is far more complicated than I had guessed so maybe women's nutrition is different too, but in this case I'm guessing not.

For the most part, its pretty much the same.Calculating BMR is a bit different as is supplementation.Women in general need more calcium and iron due to their menstrual cycles.Could be other supplements im overlooking as well..

Concept is the same, but you apply differently.

i think there is two sections just incase a woman would be more comfortable posing thier diet issues in the womens section... and really... the womens section is kinda weak, so it's like a little stuffing with the meat and potatoes!

HOWEVER... if attracting more women to the site is a priority, I think it will be more readily used in the future!

that's kind of what i thought might be the case. there's been a couple of really interesting nutritional posts in the last few days and it got me to wondering... men/women nutrition... hmm.
