WHo uses these as a post training therapy (of sorts). I recently started taking steams and i feel like a million bucks coming out of there (dollars, not male deer).

Ive seen video of all sorts of athlestes who use steams (Fedor being the one who really stood out), but does anyone know the actual benefits of them though?

i am on tren, so i dont want to stress my kidneys any more with dehydration than I have to. Also, PWO I am looking at my PWO jab of IGF and MGF, my carb shake, and not to much later, my foooooooood.....protein.
I would love to relax PWO, but have too much stuff to do.

I love a good steam room after training, maybe not a sauna though. I used one at clubfit in cowtown when it first opened but then it turned into a mung hole after a couple of years. Any hint of a cold and bam! it was steamed right out. I'd almost give my left testicle for a steam room now or even a jaccuzzi would be nice after training.

Yeah im with you AB. There's a reason every culture in the world has used steams in their history.

As for the post workout thing, id say go on a day off and steam for 15 or 20, you'll love it!

It's good for the skin no? Opens your pores so you can clean them out good.

ive read if you gom from hot steam right into cold as you can stand it water it gets rid oflactic acid and reduces soreness , but i like being sore and i dont wanna spend my time with a bunch of sweaty stinky guys in a confined space.ill keep my routine drinking protein and watch girls on elyptical. it also helps blood fow

Make sure you have a cardiologist on hand for that.

When I was training the first year out of high school (which was the last time I made crazy gains), I had tried going in a hot tub after workouts and I tried the steam room on seperate occasions as well. I noticed that the pump was gone and I felt as all the work I had done in the gym was lost. IMO the muscles get too relaxed too soon. Now after workouts I do the protein thing and wait till my heart rate is normal and my body has cooled down after sweating. That takes about 20 mins at which point I hop in a luke warm shower. I feel that my pump sticks around and I have enough of an appetite to eat a good meal.
