We have 2 breakfast places within walking distance from our house. one of them, Flips, Sam used to work at, they have HUGE portions!! soi good :)
We will have to do it up there for sure sunday morning :)

SHoulders Exp Traps and Pecs are much fuller and more proportioned hard to see the conditioning with the different distances but looks like you are at least condition wise 5 or more days ahead of where you were as far as cut goes. Great work man. You guys working out at Central????

15 days......... Wow time is flying.
Wondering if i will be ready..... Am I doing everything I can to be in teh best shape possible?........ Did I diet long enough??.......... did I workout hard enough??........
everything is comming to my mind now. Starting to freak out.
I've made leaps and bounds since starting with DK. It's all upto me now. He has done everythibng possible for a coach to do. Doubt I would be in this shape if i had to do it alone! I have learned alot from him in a short time and am very greatfull for all his help!!
He is always there when i have a question or concern and always has an answer to put my mind at ease.

You will do fine... plus there are another 2 qualifiers before the Ontario... if I am not happy with my results at this show, I will give it another shot next month... look how far you have come since the beginning of the year... that's a victory in itself!

Good idea FC. That would be a great idea because i dont know anyone who is more precise and expierenced in posing for womens especially. You could show her the 1/4 turns and the tips on how to hit them perfectly. We will have to work this out if we could. Ya too bad we all dont train at the same gym anymore but we will c what happens.

well day 13 is comming to an end.
Weighed 194 on teh dot this morning.
weight is still going down. Conditioning is still improving. tan is even comming along well :)
Diet is hard but barable. Cardio is the hardest. hour AM, hour PW and trying to get in 30 mins before bed just to be sure. Low intensity, consistant calorie burn.
Tank god I got the bike at home. I borrowed it from LMBQ's mom and once I return it I am definitly buying one for myself. Way worth it!!

Just got home from chest day!
People at the gym are comming upto me and asking if I am competing lol is it that obvious??? :P
Goodlife doesn't have too many "bodybuilders", a few bigger guys but not the type that would ever step on stage.
Feeling good today. got through the hour cardio pretty easily.
Chest is pumped up.
can't wait for the BBQ that's all I think about lol even more then the contest itself :P

Well just has a good back night. going great. back is popping out and getting vascular.
Still have problems with legs leaning out but seems that DK has found a sollution. Drop the stepper and it the bike like a bitch!!!!
I do teh bike at night every day already
I did 30 mins on the treadmill and 45 mins on the bike post workout tonight. will do an other 30mins-hour later tonight to get my legs to catch up.
Hiope this works.

Your on the right track switching to bike it really worked for me. When i switched to bike and tread instead of step mill within 3 days my legs were not damaged anymore and striations appeared on my quad sweep. Very big diff. You look phenomenal now lets ride it in. 9 more ****ing painful dreadful days of 2h cardio, low carbs, and savagely tiring workouts.
Why would the bike make a bigger difference in leaning the legs than the stepper ?
Is it because it's harder on the leg muscles ( the stepper ) ?

I believe so.
teh stepper is like a weight workout. damages teh muscle fibers and need to be repaired so it doesn't get cut up.
The bike is lower impact so burnes more fat.
Correct me if i am wrong

Did an hour and 30 mins cardio on teh bike at the gym and 30 mins at midnight before bed.
MAN are my legs looking A LOT better this morning.
I gained a lbs since yesterday but I am looking tighter this morning.
I also went for a tan last night so i am probably retainign a bit of water because of that.
But the Bike is working for sure!!
2 hours a day on the bike it is :)

Both are aerobic exercise so they both burn fat...the stepper is higher intensity so essentially it will burn more fat in a specified time than the bike. The stepper however puts more stress on the quads and and can cause some water retention in the legs afterwards...this is also the reason cardio is eliminated a few days prior to walking on stage.

hi all
well I'm at 192.6lbs this am. not sure why my weight went up but i am looking leaner. legs are starting to get cut and vascular but still a long way to go.
Slight diet changes to compensate.
Starting to get nervous now. Hope I make weight. don't wanna go up agains big guys like Tav and Reinforcements this year. I need more size to hang with them :P

barely finished my leg workout. wow what a rough night.
I'm so dead. almost didn't make it through my cardio.
I'm sooo flat today. I'm pretty vascular but my muscles are not popping. I have veines on my abs now but the abs are not popping.
Legs are wayyyyyyyyyyyy better then before. starting to get vascular in the legs now. the ike is really working great.

this am I was at 189.6 it's a relief to be sub 190.
Gonna be tough I figure I should be about 183lbs on friday morning to be able to make weight. I won't eat if it comes to that but I hope not.
Did my 1 hour cardio on the bike this morning and my legs are really comming along now. 1 more hour this evening to go.
Time to go to costco and get more chicken. that place is a life saver :P
looking a bit flat lately as I haven't had carbs in what 5 years now? :P
vascularity is coming along also :)

Sunday morning 5 days till weigh-ins.
188.4 this am. Weight is going in the right direction. Feeling more confident now.
been on no carbs for like 5 weeks or so now. working well. Still flat of course.
3 more days of weights. no more legs thank god lol
gonna have to push out loads of cardio to come in with super cut legs.
Speaking of that off to the gym :p

GOOD JOB korrillon. Weight is going perfect and down by the day. Your are there man. Your condition is very good and we still have 4 days to bring it all in. In less than a weeks time ill be over and getting on that stage to finnaly do this thing. Lets make it through this shit as tough as 0 carbs is.

Monday morning and weight is 188.2
I went tanning for the last time last night so i'm sure i am retaining a bit more water because of it so I will say that is why I didn't move much :P
Cardio is going well.
Diet is barable
Looking more and more like a zombie
Legs are comming up but will they be where they need to be in time?
trudging along as best i can.
Last ditch workouts start tonight.
can't wait till I can cut my water and see my legs come in :)

Well just got through my first full upper body depletion workout!
HOLLY CRAP!!
That was a hard ass workout! I felt like crap lol sooo weak, took me an hour and a half to do 2 exercises per muscle group. Follow that up with an hour on the bike and what do you get???? HELL!!!
But i got through it... oh wait I gotta do it again tomorrow!!!! :eek:

Gonna maintain for teh summer and then do a lean bulk. I don't wanna get much bigger then i am but want to work on my problem area's

I think a lean bulk is the right idea. I just put on a bunch of weight and muscle but I am sitting at around 18% right now. Gotta up the cardio or reduce the food to get back down to the 12-14% range.

Have you dropped sodium yet? (I assume / hope not) so I would say a good 5 pounds of water could easily be lost dropping sodium either late thursday, or all day friday...
I know how you feel though, when you're on the border, its not as ideal since you have to worry about water intake. I think though, as long as you cut your water out a few hours before weigh in, you'll be good to go.
DK will know what to do.
I will be in a similar position as you come 4 weeks from now...I am about 4 pounds over my weight class each morning, so friday will be all about making weight...THEN eating.

Have you dropped sodium yet? (I assume / hope not) so I would say a good 5 pounds of water could easily be lost dropping sodium either late thursday, or all day friday...
I know how you feel though, when you're on the border, its not as ideal since you have to worry about water intake. I think though, as long as you cut your water out a few hours before weigh in, you'll be good to go.
DK will know what to do.

It's all under control bro, you'll make it just not ideal but it will be done. At the ontario's i woke up fri morning at 182 by weigh ins at night i was 175.5 although my conditioning peaked at the weigh ins it was still good enough to win the provincials the day after as i was falling apart. you haven't got nearly as much weight to cut and the original plan for thursday still applies. friday? well i'll let you know what to do later. Everything is still where i expected it to be, no worries. now just train your ass off today! last day of cardio and weights.

I hear you there. The day is anxious enough as it is, and then add to it being thirsty as hell...Not for me! I did it once, never again. I think you'll be good to go. Once sodium is out, you'll probably have a hard time making your weight go OVER 187! Good luck with everything, I am quite impressed with how much you've changed in the last few weeks...I am sure the last few days will be like another 3 weeks worth of transformation!

You did such a great job Korillon. What a tough ass prep for both of us. Its not over but the hard part and the 2h cardio is at least. Now take this day and let them carbs absorb. Dont burn a shit load of cals. You may feel a lil full and bloated but the carbs will do that to ya. Right now im nervous a bit and second geussing shit but thats just because i know in a few short days ill have to hang on stage with you guys.
Ps. Video was completly bad ass. Side bicep and side chest are insane you have a very large chest sweep. Also in real life your back is so much more intense you have spider veins webbed right through your center back. Its crazy man. The wheels are in and the abs are tight tight. Your super ready bro cant wait to come over tommarow.

Hey Kor, I was looking at your posing routine back in '08. About how much have you gained in mass since then? You look significantly larger; good job!
At the weigh-in wich was at 11am at that time I was at 183lbs
Now I am strugling to stay under 187lbs
right now after 5 meals I am at 191.4lbs
everyone says I look bigger :)

Now depending on my weight tomorrow morning we will decide on when to cut water, and weather I am allowed to eat or not.
gonna be a nerve racking day.
getting ready for mteh show, getting ready for the bbq sunday, baking, cleaning, painting on the tan....
Ugh thank god I am local to the contest lol.

I wore the shirts to the night show and ppl were asking about it and what not. Walking advertisement per say.LOL. Seriously tho that show was awesome but not a good one to have a booth at. Would have been a waste of time/money. All the booths were hidden in cafeteria and got like 0 traffic. good call not boothing there bad setup by promoters i think.

Anyone can splice together some beats (as you just said) but it takes real showmanship and talent to actually put together a routine that a) is interesting and not simply going through the motions of mandatory poses like you were in pre-judging; and b) meshes and timed with the song.
