guys, I have recently got back into bodybuilding, after a 5 year abandonment, but the one thing I find is I have somehow isolated myself to somewhat of a lonely existence, I dont think I have driven my friends away, but I just dont know how to explain it, I understand they are not as hungry as I am, for anything??? I tell myself BBers are a certain way, it is a part of going fukn hard in everything we do,,, dont want to sound like a pussy,,or all hormonal,,,ha ha,, but,,what are your thoughts?

You're an alpha male bro.
They either follow you or they run away.
Decide what you want and go for it.
When you present yourself as a leader
and someone they want to be like/be around
they will come back and follow.

You are the average of the 5 people that you spend more time with.

Choose them wisely and live a better existence

To be successful in anything in life requires balance...if you dont have balance in your life you will never be happy and never see the success you otherwise could. Too many guys forsake education, family, friends, relationships, etc for BB. BB only last so long...life lasts much longer. There is no reason you cant foster great relationships, get a decent education, be close to family and friends and be a successful BB at the same time...in fact its much easier if you do. To be successful in BB requires a strong support structure...without it you wont succeed. If you are serious about BB you will find friends within the sport as well but you dont need to forsake those who dont BB or compete.
Look at all the top athletes in the world...they all have support from friends and family and have balance in life.
