dont get me wrong i love seeing and cheering for canada to win gold.

but i am stumped on why they are in such a watered down pool each year?
they pretty much have a cake walk to the semi finals every year.

why is this?

i went and watched a couple games when i was home in sask this year for xmas, and honestly finland,russia,sweden and the czecks should not all be in 1 pool.

they should play these teams in preliminary action instead of just playoffs

I didnt watch the game cuz I thought Canada would roll over my boys but then I got to work tonight and found out that the boys in the red, white and blue had won! I would have cheered for Canada as well, seeing as I am now Canadian .....looks like it was a real nail-biter! I'm sure it will be gold in the olympics for Canada tho!

Bad coaching and strategy on Canada's part against a very fast US team! They're are things they could have employed to equalize this, but they didn't!

Worst offensive pinch I've ever seen. What kind of team has a 3 man pinch on 4 on 4 play. They deserved to lose it after that, but I'm glad they busted their asses the last couple minutes to fight for the tie. Our olympic team is stacked this year, Russia is going to be a top competitor but they're full of one-man players, should be interesting.
