When I wake up I take:

Fish oil, Oil of oregano, Vit D, Multi vit

Digestive enzymes whenever I eat any type of dead animal

Probiotics during my dinner (starting January)

During my work out:
30g of Casein, 30g of whey, 20g of Glutamine (modified Poliquin protocol)

Post work out: 2g vit C

During the day: 1l of green tea

Before bed: ZMA + GABA

Questions:
1) What do you guys think about L-glutamine supplementation in between meals?
2) Should I be taking BCAAs? Why? When? How much?
3) Should I be taking Creatine? Why? When? How much?

My goal right now is to keep as much strength and keep bf down while my hips heal.

I am walking on an empty stomach most of the days and my split is:

High intensity (5X5 style) chest and back + abs one day

and a progressive load/piramidis with bike sprints next day.

I am working out 4 or 5 days a week: no more than 2 days working or 2 days resting.

BCAA's pre and post workout.

glutamine pre and post workout.

Many have told me they found glutamine to be helpful as an appetite suppressant in between meals.

I don't think you need extra glutamine.

If you were to take BCAA's ( which it dosen't look like you need them ) I would say take them during your workout and lay off the casein and whey. But if you don't , then don't worry about it as I'm sure there is lots in your powder . I suggest taking it during because they are easier on the stomach.

I found BCAA's work for lean muscle/fat reduction. I would take 15grams through out the day. 5grams upon wake, 5 grams during workout, 5grams before bed. I noticed improved vascularity.

How do you like the oregano? I hold it under my tongue for a few seconds and swallow the remainder. That stuff burns!

Casein, I would save for before bed. Slower break down, so the body has available protein while you sleep.

Creatine mono is going to help you gain mass and strength also will help with recovery
u should take whey pre workout instead of Casein use Casein for before bed also the bcaa and glutamine are both great u can split that for pre and post workout or post and before bed use 5g of each in every serving

Before going to bed I have cottage cheese.

The Casein/whey/glutamine shake is taken during the work out because most of the time I am hungry at that time. Therefore I take this combo to have not just enough aminoacids in the blood stream during and after my work out, it helps me to feel full and the glutamine working as a neurotransmitter helps with drive/concentration. I'll add 5g of creatine.

BCAA's are a no go for now - I will do more research on them.

I`d use the bcaa`s intra workout in gatorade. Right now I`m using 10 grams of leucine and 10 grams of bcaa intraworkout with 2 scoops of gatorade (70grams of carbs) there`s also 5 grams of beta alanine in there with the same mix post workout but have 5 grams of creatine in there as well but 2.5 grams of beta alanine. I drink a protein shake about 10 minutes after with 36 grams of iso/concentrate. The other creatine serving is taken pre workout which is always my breakfast. On non workout days, with breakfast I`ll take 5 grams of createn and I often take week ends off creatine as I don`t train during that time.

If you`re going to use glutamine use the petides version of it. I`m gonna start uing 5 grams intra and post workout to see what it gives... I don`t know what kind of neural effects you seek from using glutamine, but l-tyrosine can put your cns is a very fuctional mood at 3 grams taken 30-60 minutes pre workout and 1hour after your last meal.

I have no idea who told you to take glutamine with protien as other amino acids are ****ing up the amino acid absorption. To make glutamine actually work, it must be taken empty stomach, not with a protein drink and have no clue why you`re drinking the slowest absorbing protein when you want the fastest one to be drank during your workout being whey hydrolosates. Those are expensive and from what I hear taste horrible.

2 grams of vit c post workout is fine but take 1 gram with your preworkout meal as well.

The reason I take casein is that I want/need the sensation of satiety, I used to have whey only or whey and an apple and in 15 min I was hungry and couldn't concentrate in my WO. Keep in mind that I take a fast and slow protein at the same time.

I guess that it will be in my blood stream in about 30 min that is the time that I am pushing as hard as I can handle and them at the end of my work out I'll have a maximum aminoacid load from both types of protein and that will last a while due to the casein.

I used to take glutamine with L-tyrosine and get in "the zone" for my work outs.

Thanks for the info.

Wow, this is great! "My penis length would increase to size of that of a lama", roflmao.

I find that MSM and Glucosamine works well for the joints, apart from that I take a bunch of other stuff like creatine, glutamine, BCAA, beta-alanine, fish oil and a multi, but I am only experimenting with the stuff myself so I don't want to comment. So far beta-alanine seems to make a big difference in buffering lactic acid building up during a set, but this could be just a mental effect.

I found that tweaking my diet made a huge effect, much larger than all supps combined.
