Hi guys,

Do any of your have frequent headaches, especially when the blood pressure drops a little bit? For example, I am almost guaranteed to get a headache if I am running on a low carb diet (~120g of carbs daily), and then as soon as I miss one meal - bam, headache. Sometimes it just comes one during the day, especially if I did not eat enough for breakfast.

Solutions: trivially, don't miss any meals. Coffee, definitely works (double americano). Also eating a ton of sugar (bananas), but this is a bad solutions as I am on a diet. Nootropics: piracetam seems to get rid of it a little bit. Stuff like Tylenol does not really help.

I do not get a headache when:
1) I eat plenty of meats and I don't skip meals. Even on a ketogenic diet attempt, I was consuming 5 7oz meat meals a day, and no headache
2) When I eat junk like candy, and increase carbs to over 300g daily, but this is bad for a low carb diet.

Thanks! :yeah

I only saw one question and the answer is no. Can't comment on the rest; seems silly/coincidental.

Basically what I am asking is do a lot of people have issues with low blood pressure when dieting. Also, how can this be avoided/fixed and what causes it? I know some people just get really hungry when they are cutting, but I've never heard of people having headaches when they limit the food intake - seems to be the case for me.

You pretty well answered it yourself. I think it has more to do with feeding intervals. I get the same way if I skip a meal. Now I know to bring food with me at all times when I leave the house just in case. A can of tuna with some spinach leaves or crackers as a light snack. I have to keep food in me all the time. I would suck at Survior!
