What a blast we had last night playing together. Up to 4 players at the same time.

As a kid I remember playing Mario Brothers on my NES. This new version for the WII is Alot of fun!

I highly recomend it to anyone.

I'm sure it would make an amazing XMAS gift. (If you can find one..)

She found it in a Shipment at Shoppers Drug Mart here in Toronto.

Thanks for the heads up L3.

Got Homebrew ready to go! Picked up a 2gig SD card and will apply this SoftMod when I get home from the Office.

Your fiance hates you. If she did love you she would have got you an xbox 360 with xbox live and call of duty modern warfare 2 hahahaha. I have a wii and I got it modded and you can just download and burn the games.

It was pretty expensive when I got it done.. The place charged $150 cash. But they give a lifetime warranty of their work.

XBox? Na, thanks.. I've had my share of XBOX problems.. Not going down that road again..

PS3 with FREE online play is the way to go.

Call of Duty MW2 does rock!

The Wii was more for her and I.

Spent about an hour or so on it last night.

Picked up a 2Gig SD Card.
Formatted it as Fat32

Downloaded the following
http://rapidshare.com/files/269398934/Homebrew_Files_4.0.rar
(There are others.. Go to wiihacks.com and read up.. )

**NOTE: Best directions I can find are via wiihacks.com
specifically: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/24630-full-hacking-guide-4-2-system-menus.html **

Took those files and dropped them onto the SD card.

Moved the SD card to the Wii, accessed the SD card and installed the HomeBrew Channel.

This allows me to (Among many things...)

Play Burnt games.
Rip a Game (Copy a game)
Play DVD Movies on the Wii
Download Games directly via HomeBrew

I've got a 1TB USB Drive attached to the Wii now. On that Drive, I've since copied over 13 Wii Games. (All but 2 were rentals or borrowed from a friend)

No Hardware Mod required.
Took some time to get The apps in HomeBrew installed (Nintendo aggressively fights this technique). You'll notice that within the "http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/24630-full-hacking-guide-4-2-system-menus.html" the steps to get this done.

If you give it a shot, just be patient.
