I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has give me some great feedback on this site. As in some of my other posts, i got really great help from many. But as the New Year is almost here, I just got some great news that I wanted to share with everyone. You ever get a phone call from someone's cell and they not now their cell has called you?? I know mine has done it many times. Well two nights ago my mothers did it. It called me, must have been because I was the last one to call her. But anyways thats not the great news.........

This past march my father was told his kidneys were only at 20%, and that he would need a transplant soon. Well now his kidneys are only at 13% but holding there for the last couple months. This is when my weight loss journey started, not for me mostly but with the hopes if I get "healthy" enough I could give him mine.Only thing is my father is the type to give, give and never take anything for himself. So trying to get him to let us kids get tested to see, was very very hard. But the call the other I heard my mother talking to a friend about us getting tested and dad being ok with it.

So long story short, in the new year I start the six month journey to saving my father. It takes so long due to all the testing that has to be done to see if the tissues are a match and that 1) they are not buying my kidney, 2) i am mentally healthy enough to handle giving one. And 3) the major one. that I am healthy enough to give one.

So in the next six months I will not be taking anything to help me lose fat and I am also ****sigh**** going to quit smoking pot( not that I smoke alot now but)****sigh*** oh well if it means my father will be able to walk me down the aisle, and see his grandkids, then I will buck up and do it.

THanks again everyone that has helped give me great feedback and help on here.

PS i will be posting before, middle and after pics on here in the next month and a half of my weight loss journey
