Dermatologist has me on Accutane for probably 4 - 6 months. I just started 6 days ago. Dry lips are a bitch by the way. My question is this, she has me scheduled to get blood work done every 4 weeks to check cholesterol levels. Apparently accutane can increase your cholesterol levels so they monitor it. I'm looking to start a cycle in a couple weeks. I'll be running t400 and four weeks in I'm going to throw in some Dbol and then by week 6 I want to add Tren-E for about 6 weeks. Is there a good chance that this may increase my cholesterol and cause ****ed up blood work? In an ideal world I would wait till I'm done my accutane and then hit the juice.. but my patience or lack there of is making this difficult. I've been off for 6 months, my test levels are normal and I'm ready to go again.

Any factual info would be appreciated..

Thanks guys.

with tren and dbol and accutane your cholesterol will be ****ed. i would not suggest anyone use aas and accutane concurrently.

Thanks Tex,

Now is there a way around this? Can I control my cholesterol while on? Fish oils? Oatmeal? etc....

I have to fast for 12 hours before blood work. I don't wanna have her tell me that I have to cut my treatment short due to high cholesterol levels...

There's gotta be something I can do besides hold off on the gear. I mean if not then it is what it is.. but I'm hoping for a way around this.

fish oil, fibre and lots of cardio will help but i'd skip the sauce til the accutane is over and done with.......accutane makes you feel like garbage and can make you depressed.....now imagine pct if you are already feeling like a bucket of dicks......bad news imo....good luck!

It can be done. But not with tren or dbol. They are checking more than just cholesterol. They check liver function and triglycerides aswell. Then tren with screw with your triglycerides and cholesterol as tex said. But you can run certain steroids safely while using accutane.

Garlic also is supposed to work very well for controlling cholesterol.

And thanks Gic for your accutane log. Lets me know what I can expect. So once you dropped the deca you were only running test? And your blood work was always at or near baseline?

Thats correct. I ran the Npp/Prop for the first 5 weeks, but stopped the NPP cause it would cause flare ups with the acne. Then I was only running test. Blood was always ok according to the doc. I never actually saw the results. He would just tell me. I assume it was always near baseline.

Currently running 400mg of Test E. a week along with 80 mg of accutane per day, for the last 3 months.
I have had no concerns with cholesterol and my blood tests are always fine.

red yeast rice extract = lovastatin = harsh on liver values
so we want to avoid anything that is gonna stress our livers cuz the accutane will screw with the liver values as well......be nice to your liver!

Still trying to decide what route to take here, although I'm leaning towards holding off on the gear. The more I research accutane the more I see that this shit is no joke. Side effects are numerous and I'm already experiencing several of them. If I go through all these side effects just to have Doc pull the plug on my prescriptions because of messed up blood work I'll be pissed.

I also think that I'll be too stressed about putting all this shit into my body at the same time to even enjoy this cycle. Whats the point of that?

I run accutane on cycle, although I'm trying something new this cycle. I used to have 10mg tabs so I split those and took 5mg a day. And I had severe acne, and you'd be surprised how well that worked. I don't believe in bombing my body with a high dosage, when smaller dosage will work albeit at a slower rate.

This cycle I'm using 20mg but only once a week cine Accutane has a very long half life. Although I may split taht to 10mg 2 x week, since I am starting to break out.

I also do a lot of cardio and eat very clean.

i had a doc prescribe me a big run of accutane, but since I only get some acne when on what I did was buy the tane and only use a little when on a cycle, for me 20mg a week is enough to keep away all acne (1 cap a week, and some weeks nothing at all) once in a while I might use 2 doses of 20mg a week, but that stuff is super strong! You can get a lot of bang for the buck with small doses

they are also checking liver functioning. I did tren a and test p while on accutane and my liver functioning test were messed right up. Made the doctor really suspicious cause I never told him I was on gear. I finished my cycle and the tests are better now. Just be prepared for a curious doctor, and a bunch more tests.

I did Test Tren, EQ, Tbol, and Halo at the end while on Accutane, liver cholesterol and everything else was fine the whole time

Im running tren E, test and EQ right now as wel as 10mg of tane' per day. The small dose of tane is enough to keep my skin nice and clear while on but not high enough to cause any issues. 80mg/day is a HUGE dose, cant imagine doing that while on.

I wouldn't run any orals with accutane, your liver wont think too highly of it.
