View Full Version : Clothes WTF!

I've been having a really hard time finding clothes that fit decently lately and it is driving me nuts.

The jeans especially are almost an impossible task. I have one pair of jeans that fit right now and I just bought them a few days ago. This was after an epic quest that probably involved trying on 50 pairs of jeans. I finally settled on a pair from Buffalo but they cost me $100, damn.

I'm not even that big 5'9" 170 lbs, I think the problem is my proportions. I have about a 30 inch waist and last I checked 25 inch thighs. I usually go with a 32 inch waist on my pants to give me a little extra room but I go any bigger then that and the waist and ass of the jeans are loose while the legs are still tight.

Screw these trendy designers who tailor their cloths for emo guys with twig legs and big guts!

Where do some of you guys with big legs get fashionable clothing because I am too the point now that if my legs get any bigger I will probably have to get jeans tailor made so they fit properly. It's either that or buy a pair of Chuck Norris action jeans.

Thats funny, I went around the entire mall a while ago, Buffalo was the only company that made jeans that fit. Every other pair of "baggy" or "loose fit" jeans held my ass cheeks together and squeezed my quads... the worst is they would ride up my legs. I went from about 10 pairs of jeans 2 years ago, to only 2 that fit now. And I cant keep a wallet in my pockets comfortably anymore. I just measured my quads at 27", im hoping to get bigger too...

10 years ago EVERYTHING was baggy, id kill for some of those super baggy jeans now.

Im super close to just giving up on jeans.

Just to the OP, if you find you liked the Buffalo jeans, Winners sells them for $35 instead of $100.. you ever check that place out?

There are a bunch of them in Edmonton

Thanks for the tip. I never thought about checking winners. There was only 1 style even at Buffalo that fit.

I went to an outlet mall once and they had some gangster black dude store with jeans and hoodies, those jeans would fit... you just might get shot at for wearing them though... cant think of the brand name, its the one with the rino on the tag.

I have a couple of gangster jeans I picked up cheap as a last resort but I needed a nice pair that didn't make me look like a tool.

Damn my quads are 26'' and i wear a 36x32 jeans and the only pair i could find that fit me was from walmart and it was a type of levis bootcut.

Every other style of jeans was just WAY to tight on the quads and ass.

The bigger i get the more i think im going to be in sweats or shorts.....lol:D

Meanwhile, many people, even on this board think you are a slob if you go out in public in sweatpants. You can't win sometimes.

See atleast you have a 36" waist, that helps a lot. My waist still fits 32" jeans... if I went for 36" jeans, the legs/butt would fit better, but Id have a fold of jeans under my belt and I'd look like an idiot if my shirt came up...

haha just a week ago i started a thread for tshirts in the off topic section.. but i'm also having this issue with my legs and also underwear... trying to have room for my legs and my balls/dick while not having super baggy jeans that make you look like a fool is getting pretty annoying..

5'6 183lbs and 32" waist..

when my quads were 26+ the only jeans that would fit were Lucky Jeans and Gap Loose fit

I buy Wrangler Loose Straight fit jeans. You can get them at Walmart or Zellers for like 20 bucks. They hold up well and fit comfortably. You still might have to get them in a bigger size though. My legs are just under 29'' (small at the bottom big at the top) and I find the 38 waist fits well.

I have the same problem. If I want a nice pair of jeans they're impossible to find. Most of the good brands are way too tight in the legs. I found Lucky were a little tight too... actually looked like they were painted on.

Buffalo seems okay, although I did have to try on about 6 or 7 pairs before I found something that wasn't tight. Some of the Diesel jeans are not too tight in the legs - but yeah, go to winners for that $80-$100 vs. $200-$300.
