ok so gonna be starting my first cycle very shortly here, just wanted to get clear on proper injection technique. One thing i have heard diffrent opinions on is wether or not to pull back on the plunger to check for blood once the needle is buried? how many of you do this? also there was a good video on IM injection i saw on youtube once, really old though, anyone got a link. Thanks. I hate needles and just got my 1 1/2 inch 25gauge'rs in the mail, not excited to stick that in my glutes...

1. If you have a vial like a 10mL vial rub the top with some rubbing alcohol
2. Take needle out of package
3. If you are injecting 1mL fill the needle with 1mL of air then stab it into the vial and inject the 1mL of air into the vial.
4. Draw out the 1mL of oil or whatever you are doing.
5. Optional: Heat up gear under hot water make sure cap is in needle makes for less painful shots.
6. Mark your injection spot with your finger then rub the area with some rubbing alcohol
7. Literally stab the needle into where you are injecting (I still cannot do this and I stab it slow which is not very good but I cannot bring myself to stab it yet)
8. Aspirate....pull back on the plunger abit to see if any blood come into the needle if there is remove needle and restab it a cm or so over.
9. Inject gear.
10. I keep the needle in there for 3-5 seconds after I am done injecting to let oil absorb abit so when you pull out oil doesnt leak out.
11. pull out needle and cover injection area with a alcohol swap or something with running alcohol on it like a cotton ball.
12. Optional: while covering area you can apply pressure and massage abit this will help the oil spread out throughout the muscle.
Goodluck.

Not an expert on the injecting yet since I just started my first cycle but you are supposed to pull back on the plunger (aspirate) always. If you don't you won't know if you hit a vein and you don't want to inject oil directly into the blood stream, bad things could happen. Aspirating doesn't hurt BTW.

I actually stopped aspirating when shooting my glutes. I've found it's completely unnecessary because where i'm injecting there aren't any major veins or arteries that i can even hit. if you hit a vein, chances are you're not going to see any blood anyway (i didnt until i pulled the needle out), and after aspirating 40-50 times, not once seeing blood flow into the syringe, ive decided not to do it anymore. i will if/when i shoot my quads, but not for delts.. its too awkward.
also, stabbing it in is also unnecessary. its fine for health practitioners/nurses with a lot of experience, but for us going slowly ensures if you do hit/nick a nerve, you'll be able to pull it back out quickly.

If you start to get really bloated, nips start getting sore or sensitive and puffy, start taking Aromasin. 25mg eod should be fine, maybe even e3d. I take it twice a week with .5mg caber and I've been good.. though Tren helps with the bloat I think.

I go slow.
If you jam the needle in and hit a nerve you're going through it and it is going to hurt.

Mine is similar to Daandes
1) Have a hot shower
2) Put some hot tap water in a cup and microwave the water until its boiling
3) Sit the bottom of the vial in the cup and cover the top of the cup. Let it sit for a few minutes.
^This will help you draw the warm oil from a 25 guage syringe. Covering the cup will cause the rubber stopper to heat up enough that your syringe should pass through it without dulling the needle much saving you swapping pins ( Done this over 100 times no injection problems )
4) Take the now warm oil vial out of the water and alcohol swab the stopper. At the same time I swab my deltoid, circular motion from the middle of the delt towards the outside.
5) If you're drawing 1ml pull at least 1ml of air into the syringe. Inject this air into the vial to create pressure in the vial and speed up drawing. Then tip the vial upside down and draw your ammount.
6) Point the pin towards the cieling and flick the barrel until most of the bubbles are at the top. Then push that air out, the tiny bit of oil you'll lose will coat the needle.
7) Z-track technique. With your other hand, pull the skin to the side before you inject ( obviously dont touch anywhere near your injection site with your dirty hands ) This will make your skin easier to penetrate and also when you let go after injecting the holes in all your tissues wont line up and wont leak out of muscle into sub-q tissue causing pain etc
8) Before pushing the oil in pull the plunger back a tiny bit (aspirate) to make sure you're not injecting in a vein. If you see blood, discard and start again. Otherwise inject slowly while still holding the skin to the side.
9) Reshield the syringe and properly discard in a sharps container.
I'd also recommend doing your first shot near a chair or with supervision. I've heard of alot of guys feeling light headed / passing out on the first jab. Think that's all I got for ya.

I would recommend this also. First time I stabbed I felt super light headed and was sweating and I almost blacked out. I had a bottle of Gatorade to sip on while I was almost passing out which seemed to help alot.
i pin slow... nothing gets the blood flowing like a needle slowy dissapearing away into your pec towards your heart region

Yeah except that if you actually do see blood when you aspirate you don't have to throw it out and start again, that's just a waste. Just swap with a new needle, wipe a new area and go again.

You can restab the same needle and pin. My sister is a nurse its what they do in the hospital.

I don't bother warming up the oil although I use 18 to draw and 22 to pin. I go slowly, can't bring myself to going fast. I aspirate because it's the safest way to know for sure, but my wife has done 2 surrogacies, and she had to pin EVERDAY 2ml's of oil alternating glutes obviously for 12 weeks, she never aspirated and never injected into a vein. I think the chances are so remote in your butt because the veins are so small.
You may notice once or twice blood may follow the needle out, this just means you went through a vein. No big deal, it will stop. Sometimes it's a drop, others well....may get a spray! Just don't freak out, means nothing. Aspirate to cover your the bases and don't worry about it. If you're close to a nerve, you'll know it! It sucks but it goes away.
For sanitation, I always do it after a shower, use alcohol, clean the vile and glute. I'm not a big fan of injecting air into the vial, paranoid of contamination, although air has to get in there somehow or the glass would implode right? Just paranoid, means nothing I'm sure.

like real estate, it's location as well. I flex my glute, you'll see the muscle in a mirror. I tend to go upper 1/3rd, my wife says I'm too high but it works for me so far but I am more towards outside of glute. When you go more to the inside there's more nerves there. From what I recall the nerve pack comes down your spine and they branch out from your tailbone area like an upside down tree so to speek. Hope this makes sense, i"m no expert, only did one cycle. If there's others that can correct me feel free please.

Here's a pic I found, shows muscle structure on the left and nerve branches on the right.
