Are you suppose to get your own agent or just use the one selling the house? Little help I have no idea what I'm doing.

Own agent, make sure to buy it somewhere around the hill, you will get most outta the place if you do.

Btw, while on the topic, remember that real estate agents work on commission. The ironic part is that if you're buying, it's actually in the agent's favour for you to pay more than less...

Even if you're crazy about a house and you really want it, don't let your agent know how badly you want that house when you make the offer... If he knows it, he knows you won't walk away if the seller doesn't give you the price you want, and he won't go out of his way to negotiate on your behalf.

Same concept applies when you're selling...never let the agent know that you're in a rush to sell..
