Anyone on here aver use Adderall for studying or even for lifting purposes? I hear so many people talking about this drug I'm beginning to wonder about it...

From what I've read about it, it seems relatively safe in infrequent doses.

Anyone here ever used it?

I reccommend against it

I used it once for studying- it increased concentration but gave me anxiety and some sleep issues for a couple of days after

A chick I know used to use it all the time for studying, when she took it she always seemed kind of out of it... dont know how to describe it... zombie-like... she lost ALOT of weight because it supresses appetite... anyways she ended up having a seizure while on it once... real ****ed

this drug is far from safe...it has a high potential for addiction, it increases blood pressure and in doing so puts you at risk for heart attack, stroke and other heart problems. it can also induce psychosis and sometimes even weirder behavior.........its meant to treat ppl with adhd....if you dont have adhd its like taking meth.....bad stuff imo

Yah... I took it while in first year... tends to be popular among 18 year olds cramming the night before an exam... same with ritalin... never helped anyone though lol they all still did shit... it actually creates a problem because you study well while on it but once it wears off you feel kind ****ed up and then its much harder to deal with the exam itself

you having trouble maintaining concentration or something?

I take it sometimes to study. I could see it being addictive if you took it very regularly. You don't get sketchy off it like you do off Ritalin. It makes doing a shitty assignment fun an exciting lol.

the nootropic thread over at t-nation has some good feedback with poeple using it. Long term use can be tough on the liver, increases cortisol and decreases appetite. It`s seen as the poor man`s modafanil. That`s the shit you want to increase focus for studying...

If you can`t get that, look into using aniracetam and oxiracetam. These as well are very well discussed in the thread called brain function boosters.
