Hacking into own Computer

Anyone know any programs that will record keystrokes/passwords on your computer. Preferably for free. It's not for me. There are programs but they cost around $40 and up and my friend is el cheapo.

Used to be you could go to www.download.com (or some other site that deals in freeware) and download a freeware version or a trial version of a commercial software. I think you still can, but if you do, you'd better scan it thoroughly just to be safe. Either that or look on some torrent sites for something similar.
