I just bought this it works for iPhone on Rogers or Fido. It costs $1.99 it checks how much minutes/data/text you have used and how much you have left and you account balance....Very much worth $1.99 if you wanna keep tabs on your phone usage to try and not go over.

Why not just download the Rogers MyAccount app. It's free and does the exact same thing.
On devices other than iPhone, you can simply go to rogers.mobi and it will give you the above. However since Apple has certain restrictions, the *.mobi site does not work, so the solution to that was to have an App built (by Rogers).
Did I mention it's FREE? ;)

The app is free BUT Rogers doesn't allow you to use it over wifi so you will have to pay with your data plan. Cheap fu*ks.

According to them, it doesn't count against your data usage.

I've using an app like this for my BB for months now and it was free
For those on Iphone why are you worrying about the data usage? Don't yo guys get like 6GB/month? That's pretty hard to max out on...

Hey Nate, can you post the info for your BB app that tracks usage? I could really use something like this!

It's called Mobile Tracker. Should be in AppWorld
Nate. My plan is only 500mb a month then .03 a mb after that. The most I've sen is 1g for the month, but I'm with Bell so it may be different on others.
BTW - there is so many free apps out I would pay for any. I'm diggin Mafia wars.

I only have 500mg/month for my BB too. I NEVER go over it. Not remotely close.
But Iphone plans are different or at least they are with Rogers. I think the standard Iphone plan is 6GB? I have many a friends who use their Iphone for nothing more than consumer entertainment and are constantly on it downloading media, etc and have never ever gone over their limit.
As far as I am aware, Iphones come with a built in data tracking tool also? So my friends tell me. I had an Iphone for a week before it got returned and I went back to my trusted BB.

I have a standard plan with Rogers with the new iPhone and it's 500 mb, I never seen a 6 gb plan on anything.... But I was not looking for something that either.
And ya it tracks what ever you want in the settings if you want it to. May not be as specific as peeps want though.
I went over the 500mb my first month by a couple hundred , which is like 9$ or something like that.
If I was more a busness guy I would def have a bb , but I'm just a dumb old operator , lol. The only reason I picked this up was because my contract was upso I was able to give my wife the itouch that I had instead of buying another itouch I got the phone for the same price , whith better/more features ( video , more memory , and no need for a wifi conection)

I am on 6GB a month and am not worried about using it. It also shows how many minutes you have left like daytime and how many txt msgs.

I have a 6 gig plan, I use my iphone to tether internet to my home computer so I use a lot of my plan.
I found a cool app yesterday, download "Gtach free"... it does the same thing as a gtech to measure your vehicle performance, but it couples it with GPS to make it more accurate. Cool app if you're into the car thing.
With Apps like these my iPhone has paid for itself over and over again, I think I paid $200 for my old Gtech Pro, this is better too. Im interested to compare it to track times this spring and see how accurate it is... seems accurate enough though, i did some 0-60 runs at it stopped timing at exactly 100 on my speedo.

They charge you to let you know how many minutes you have left? Pff, that`s just stupid they make you pay for that.

The six gig plan is about $30. They offered the deal with the iPhone when it first came to Canada then they offered it again with the release of the new iPhone. You may be able to get it still if you say you want to cancel and go to Bell because they were will to offer you this deal. Just say cancel phone at the beginning when they ask you what you want and they'll send you to the retention department.
