What are your reasons for enjoying the bar/club scene if you go?
Or do you just avoid it all together?

Clubs and Bars are fun when you're single...because in my mind, you go there to pickup chicks. What's the point of surrounding myself with eye candy and temptation if I have a girlfriend.
If I want to hang out with friends, I'd much rather have the guys over and watch the game here...beer is much cheaper and protein shakes are always available.
So yeah, I pretty much avoid clubs/bars.

Yah Id much rather hang out at someones house, or go to like a restaurant bar to watch a game
Its good when youre single but when youre not just kinda sucks. Most guys I know who go who have gfs go and just basically spend the entire night hitting on other chicks for the ego boost

Last time I went to a bar I was the only sober person there, everyone looks at you like you're an idiot if you don't drink or like you think you're better than them. Not to mention I spend the whole night trying to keep the drunkards from getting themselves punched out

My wife and I will go for concerts or the odd night, but not very often. And we dont go to them without each other.
I don't go out very often.
If to a pub, it's to escape a nagging female or watch some mma event.
If a dance club.. well, that's to enjoy females in general.

I`ll answer you question with a big HELL NO! I work in a bar every week end. Being around drunk people can be very, very annoying. Always fights over some bullshit. I may go out some time in the new year, man it`s been a while and it will be in an afterhour to dance as gay as that may sound.

I drink a handful of times a year and to be honest drunk people piss me off.
The worst are the close talker who gets in real close, the closet homo who shows his man love when drunk (not that homosexuals), the whiny bitch, "likes to fight guy", or your buddy's GF who likes to start shit with other people.
you guys are a bunch of downers. going out is fun whether you are single or attached. i just like to go out and ****ed up with my boys in new places. there is always some sort of adventure that ends up happening and its good fun.
lets not forget you can BRING your girl with you and you can dance and get drunk with her as well. bodybuilding is a lifestyle yes, but i choose to balance it with having fun and going out and doing things that dont involve timing my meals. spending time with my close boys is more important than growing on a friday night.

^^ lol dude you dig so much for info. its nothing saucy its just drunken stupidity. i also worked in a few clubs over a 3 year period and i can tolerate most atmospheres due to experience. once you can be somewhere sober, its much easier to handle it shitfaced.

How`s this for being a downer... Last night my friend said to go with them to Red Light (an afterhour) and there were 30 asian girls there he was friends with. Tuned down the offer as today I had to spend most the day cleaning as my parents are comming down to spend the holidays... That was hard to say no to!

Get a bouncing gig. Besides sleep lost its a great way to spend my friday and saturday nights.
^^ bouncing is a waste of time IMO.
if you're gonna waste your fri / sat nights, get a bartending job. you make 10x more money in less time.

I`d say about 5 times more maybe even a little less. But when you bartend it`s rare you don`t get hammered when you work. Not good for a bodybuilder to be doing every weekend...

Very true. Not many guys are good tippers when they get served by another guy. Could always work in a gay bar. I`m sure that`s what Jersey was refering to...
