so its been ~2 months since my last shot, and i still have a lump in my upper glute... not bothering me but painful if i press on it

just wondering how long it will take for it to dissolve, if ever.

If no fever, redness, swelling, or severe pain, I would not be so quick to panic.

In my opinion, you have an oil pocket. The body will break it down itself over time.

Whats a doctor going to do:

Antibiotics for an infection that isnt there? Likely out of the cookiecutter antibiotics for everything textbook.

Will he lance it? probably not unless it has formed a head.

I would actually bet money he says "leave it alone and no more roids" and then in your medical records it will state that you are a drug user.

Think this one through, as your living doesnt depend on your muscles. Its okay for a WWE wrestler, or a pro BB to discuss roids with their doctor, but the common man may have a problem down the road.

probably not a good idea, but in all honesty, that is what I would do....I would drain it with a syringe.
I am sure there is a million reasons NOT to do this though.

i have done this before on pockets that are years old.

some say you risk infection and rapid reaction if you break the pocket that has been sealed off.

I am no doctor but If you sterilize the area stick a sterile needle in and then drain whatever is in there. Then for the next couple of days keep the area covered with sterile gauze and some rubbing alcohol I dont know why it would get infected.

You should just go to your doctor. How the hell are you getting proper bloodwork if he doesn't know? He should know it's his job. Is it worth losing a leg?

i pinned A LOT in the glutes... i would say 65% of the shots, and there were many many shots

i havent gotten bloodwork done since i'm still in pct, but ive already gone through 1 treatment of antibiotics for some viral cough last month

im not about to stick a needle in there and see what comes out...but this thing has been there for a long time...i assume i would have a MAJOR lump or discoloration or edema in the area, but nothing of the sort... just tender when i press on it w/ my fingers

You did one treatment of antibiotics for a viral cough...those antibiotics are different from what would be prescribed for an abbess infection.

If you are not going to perform surgery on it yourself which is obviously not recommended (I was just wondering what people would say). I would strongly suggest seeing your doctor or going to a walk-in clinic with a stolen identity.(just joking on the stolen identity part)

I asked prisoner this summer when I had my abcess and he said not to drain that yourself. It could make it worse. It was too late as I had already done it. I just couldn`t take it anymore... But got some antibiotics about 5 days later and it went away. Keeflex at 3 grams a day I think to clear that bad boy up. **** was I scared I was going to have my arm cut off. Yes, I`m a pussy...

But L3 that cough you had, was it accompanied by sinus problems? Because I`ve been blowing my nose like mad for 3 weeks or so and have blocked sinuses all day. While doing leg presses today if not for the fact I was holding it in, I could have coughed up a gob or flem that would have flown 20 feet away... It just won`t stop... Sudafed is not doing shit. I even put the Dr Ho electrostimulation pads on my forehead last night hoping for relief. Just so you know, the Dr Ho pads placed on my head weren`t my idea, it is an actual use for them...

I dunno, maybe we licked the same woman who wasen`t so clean?

I wouldnt want to guess but if it hasnt gone away for awhile and its painful to the touch I wouldnt take any chances...the sooner yoy see you DR the better. I have see some nasty stuff because guys waited to long then had to have it cut out...not fun.

L3 keep an eye on it, make sure it doesn't get any bigger or change, message it lightly with your finger tips in the tube after a hot shower and i bet it will go away in time.. if anything about it does change go to your docs.. Prae is right this isn't something that you want to be messing around with
