I swear I want to call humane society and have her cat taken away... I needed a place to live this year and unfortunately this was my last resort. My roommate has a cat which she does not look after besides just giving it food in the morning. Shes never here so the cat box gets full. I would clean it but when I moved in I told her if she wants a cat to live here, I wont be looking after it at all. I dislike cats to begin with (again this was last resort for a place for me to live). Although Ive started to look after it, but outta principle I shouldnt be and should try to find someone would would actually want a cat and look after it.
This morning was my breaking point. I wake up to puke and shit right in front of our door. I looked in the litter box and its full of crap. I cleaned everything up, just cause Im not going to let this cat have to deal with a stupid c*nt of a owner.

lol its not that bad my friend moved into a house with four girls, and between them they had about 6 cats they didnt look after. Grossest ****ing house in the world.

I guess you can keep taking care of it until things change and you move out. It is not fair for of her to disrespect a living being like that so what you are doing is a great thing and ought to impress some broads.
Personally I would drive the thing to another town and drop it off, but I hate cats more than any other creature on this planet. Now if it were a dog I would take care of it as if it were my own lol.

Its going on three days now since shes been home.... This cat is probably happier now then its ever been before, I dont think its got this much attention specially from my lady friend

Well Ive pretty much taken over taking care of it, although I had no intention too and I told her at the start I didnt want to look after it/have the responsibility.

I have a cat I inherited from a retard roommate. This guy was renting a room off of me and didn't take care of the cat worth a shit. I like cats anyway and over time I ended up taking care of Yoda the cat. When the guy moved out I ended up keeping the cat. He wasn't too impressed I think he even broke into my house to try and steal the cat back but luckily I was anticipating this and Yoda was on vacation at the time and wasn't home.
He's a cute little bastard.

Seriously as soon as i walk towards the kitchen he runs to his bowl and begs for food OR when im not looking he jumps in the fridge.
He's ****ing smart too. My sister and her kid were over for a while and he noticed every time the kid sat in the high chair she got fed so guess what the ****ing cat started doing.....lol

Yes to answer your question but i wouldn't own a cat cause i don't like them so no worries about me turning one loose declawed. most inmates i've delt with that were sex offenders turn tail quickly when someone bigger comes to town, i wouldn't be worried their PC population's are generally small so odd's are 1 may be able to dance.:hu

My old roommate had an old cat that would piss EVERYWHERE. I leave the door to my room open for 2 min, and it would run in there a snipe a ninja piss and be gone before I noticed. Once she moved out, it took 2 hours of cleaning, and 2 professional carpet cleanings to get most of the smell out, but still it was there for a while. I will never get a cat.

Get your cat spayed and neutered. It wont piss everywhere.
Keep the litter clean, and separate litters for kittens and adults, they will not shit everywhere.
Show them attention and play with them, and they wont have to amuse themselves so much and wreck your shit in the process. Get a scratching board.
So many people out there get a pet and think all they need is food and water but that childish view is ignorant. In reality it is a large responsibility. Almost as much as a child.

The biggest ****ing problem is people who treat animals like a peice of furniture. I've known more than one person that was to cheap to get their cat fixed and ended up with multiple litters of kittens that were killed/abandoned, or complained about cats shitting/pissing in the house when they were not fixed or didn't have a clean shit box.
Fixed cats with clean litter don't piss in the house, period. How would you like to crawl around in a pile of piss and shit, and dig a hole with your bare hands in it?
Cats are clean animals, a lot cleaner than a dog ( ever see a cat roll around in a pile of shit for fun? ).
If you don't see your animal as a part of your family, you shouldn't have one.

Thats a tough situation Wade, really its up to you to do what you think is best. Either way I respect that you actually took it to a vet, because a lot of people would just throw it away or kill it.
