I had the same problem months ago and I posted it here. The problem was I was overtraining. Now I know you said that you haven't been to the gym in a few days however, I noticed that my forearms were extremely tight. The tightness extended into the palm of my hand. What I had to do was stretch mostly with flexion of my wrists to loosen up my forearms. It took a few weeks to dissapate. Hope this helps.

No idea what caused the problem or even exactly what the problem is. If it persists I would see a doctor.

Injured my wrist trying to set down some heavy dumbells after incline presses.. twisted my wrist down. Ever since I get the numbness in the pinky and ring finger in my left hand. Doctor just told me to stretch more. I don't try and place the dumbells down gently anymore.

Anything to do with a nerve twitch or pain or tingling from lifting I usually go see an accupuncturist first. Unless there's damage where the pain is not tolerable, then of course go to the hospital, but typical aches and pains, I love accupuncture for that.

I prefer the old school method with the heated needles vs. the electrical stimulation, but that's just preference. Some med plans offer re-embursement as well.
