does anyone here besides me get "puke dots" on your eye lids after heavy lifting?

puke dots are little red dots from broken blood vessels in the skin

I get those every couple of weeks. Usually on bench. I have actually had them pretty bad before.

My eyeballs turn blood shot actually.Everytime i force hard in the gym,thats what happens..

yeah, bench gets me the worst. I can sometimes feel it happening when I am on my last rep.....I feel it in my sinuses and sometimes think I am going to get a bloody nose

I've never seen the dots but my eyes turn red. Sometimes I see twinkling stars in my peripherals though.

only once and I do hold my breath for every rep....no breathing til its done!

It sounds like burst blood vessels. I have known people who get them after traumatic events from forcing from the pain.

Are you breathing correctly on your lifts? I have never experienced this myself and have done some pretty stupid strongman work.

I usually exhale on top third of bench and have light grunt (minimal exhale through out lift)...

Could be on the last rep that I hold longer

Heavy lifts make my chest/stomach acne turn BRIGHT red for a few hours. ****ING SUCKS ASS:mad:

The only time i've had these was after my meet. My whole face was basically covered. Not so dark that it was very noticeble , but still lasted a few days.

My left eye ball also went red.
