So I went to see my orthopedic surgeon regarding a rotator cuff injury. He says "At age 40, you are too young to have a full thickness tear. Have you ever used steroids?" I obviously replied with a "no".

Now here is my situation. I have to get bloodwork done before the operation but I am on a TRT dose (Not doctor prescribed) of 250 mg Test E per week. I have done 8 shots so far of 125 mg twice per week. My last shot was on Sunday night.

How much time do I need to get my levels back to baseline?

At your dosage, my pct calculator says just under 3 weeks if you stopped immediately after your 8th shot.

I should be able to time this perfectly. I will have to take a look at this PCT calculator, never used one before.

What was interesting about this 4-week HRT dose was that I gained 11 lbs. I have never gained 11 lbs in 4 weeks even on a regular cycle. My diet remained the same. Obviously it is water retention but still something new for me. Almost a week after my last shot and already lost 3 lbs.

I am contemplating going back on the HRT dose after the bloodwork to hopefully assist in recovering post surgery.
