Hi all,

I'm not going to flood everyone with details on my situation (at least for now). :) But I'm a 29 year old male from Ontario, was recently diagnosed hypopituitary after years of searching for answers in response to a rapid health decline at the age of about 22. To this day I'm not sure what caused it - I have suspcicions that it could be genetic or perhaps Accutane related. Regardless, I'm here now and all of my hormones have for the most part tanked. Some worse than others... I have labs from a 24 hour urine, but I'll save them for now.

I see Dr. John Crisler in Lansing Michigan. He's so damn good it's not funny. Currently I'm on HC, TRT, DHEA. And some HCG to get the balls working. Through the years I've learned a hell of a lot about HRT and my body. I'd say when it comes to the above meds, I know what I'm doing. And I must say I'm feeling pretty damn good these days - at least compared to the bottom feeder I was not even a year ago.

My problem now is that I'm getting an IGF-1 test done very soon and I'm almost positive it's going to be damn low. And the fact of the matter is, while I'm feeling better, my sleeps are shit, and I am not recovering like I should from sleep. I don't awake at night, but they (sleeps) just aren't like they used to be. And I can't nap anymore either. I'm fairly positive this is due to low GH. I even have apnea for some odd reason that makes it worse. I wear a mouth guard for that, works fine.

My questions are a few:

1. If it comes about that I do have low IGF-1, that's usually an indicator of low GH right?
2. From Canada, what can I even do about low GH? I hear it's illegal or a controlled substance. Can my doctor from the US prescribe to me here?
3. If not, what do I do?
4. For those who have used GH, does it help in the sleeping category? I mean does it help improve sleeping quality? I have no troubles falling asleep at night, but they aren't very restorative.

Thoughts?

I am one seriously lazy man while I'm on gh. It gets BAD sometimes. Its nice though to be able to get a good night's sleep while on a gram of test and a few others. I dont think I could do it otherwise without sleep aids.

i was only on GH for a month and half about and i got the best sleeps of my entire life during this period. i woke up every morning feeling like a million bucks. i have never woken up before and actually felt rested like i did while running only 3iu a day of GH.

A++++ from me in the sleep catagory for sure.

^^ yes. not RIGHT AWAY, but as close to as was possible. sometimes it ended up being in the afternoon, but the result was always the same.

AMAZING SLEEPS. i cannot stress this enough.

i actually have an appt. at a sleep clinic tomorrow night to get tested for sleep apnea and a few other sleeping disorders. i will most likely end up with a CPAT? machine i think its called. it keeps a constant flow of pure oxygen into your airway via a mask on your face or two small hoses in your nostrils. my buddy swears by his and says the difference is like night and day since before he got it. i cant wait to finally get some sleep after about 10+ years of just battling with bullshit sleep.

man can i relate!! sorry to go offtopic OP but man i havent had a decent nights sleep for as long as i can remember... i wake up numerous times throughout the night and morning.. i sleep a consistent 3 hours steady, then i wake up every 30-60 mins. ive woken up gasping for air sometimes as well... heart racing.. i dream of holding my breath and i think i actually do. i always wake up feeling like a bag of shit. let me know how that sleep clinic appt goes.

id love to invest in some GH just to experience a good night's sleep!

^^ kloan, honestly brother, i cant even describe how good it felt to hear my alarm clock go off and open my eyes and just be ready to seize the day. it was unlike anything i had felt before. my results may not be typical of a low dose, or even of GH at all, but i know i felt amazing.

WADE, my arms fall asleep all the time too. it doesnt help i sleep on them under my pillow either. i wake up at least 3-4 times a night, usually 5-10.

My questions are a few:

1. If it comes about that I do have low IGF-1, that's usually an indicator of low GH right? YES...NORMALLY

2. From Canada, what can I even do about low GH? I hear it's illegal or a controlled substance. Can my doctor from the US prescribe to me here? IT IS LEGAL WITH A SCRIPT WITHIN CANADA...YOU MAY NEED A DR IN CANADA TO AGREE ITS NECESSARY

3. If not, what do I do? YOU MAY WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE AT http://www.affinitypainandstress.ca/Home/tabid/38/Default.aspx HERE IN TORONTO

4. For those who have used GH, does it help in the sleeping category? I mean does it help improve sleeping quality? I have no troubles falling asleep at night, but they aren't very restorative. YES IT HELPS WITH SLEEP...REMEMBER HOW YOU SLEPT AS A TEENAGER

Canadian law...I believe HGH falls under schedule IV.
Possession

If treated as an indictable offence, the penalty is:

Schedule I: Maximum 7 years imprisonment
Schedule II (exceeding amounts set in Schedule VIII): Maximum 5 years imprisonment
Schedule III: Maximum 3 years imprisonment
Schedule IV: It is not an offence to possess a Schedule IV substance for personal use; however, Subsection (2) of Section (4) of the CDSA states that "no person shall seek or obtain a substance or authorization from a practitioner to obtain a substance in schedules I through IV." Subsection (7) then states that it is an indictable offence to contravene subsection (2). Therefore, it is an indictable offence to attempt to acquire a Schedule IV substance but not an offence for possession. Section 5 provides that possession for the purpose of trafficking of a Schedule IV substance is an offence.

If treated as a summary conviction offence, the penalty is:

Maximum $1000 fine for first offence and/or maximum 6 months imprisonment.
Maximum $2000 fine for subsequent offence and/or maximum 1 year imprisonment.

Note: For amounts not exceeding those set in Schedule VIII, maximum fine of $1000 and/or maximum 6 months imprisonment is the only punishment.

well, I am bran new to this world, althoughnot new to bb/aa/etc, however I feel stupid for I can not figure out how to start a new thred(lol) anyhow, fully I will be allowed, this . has anyone used GP test/c, from naps?? I used accordorx frm them test/ses, and found it to be likely the best test I have ever run!! however this gp test/c, seems realy , well, watery!!, when I compare it to my prescription test/e, **** they are much different the test/e is thick, although it is only a 5 ml and the other is 10 ml, not sure if I remember correctly but I have also had prescriptin test/c depo, although it is only 100 mg, but I seem to recall it being runny/watery also, anythoughts??
