This incident first occurred nearly a month ago. I was advised to shoot my test for hrt treatment sub-q. It was the doctors orders, however during the time i was shooting my test sub-q. I developed a lump that swelled up to a big ball and it was red and painful. I was positive that it was an infection, and i went to my family doctor and he gave me anti-biotics; a 7-day supply of cephelexin. It kept on getting smaller and i started feeling better but i lost the bottle of anti-biotics when i had only 2 days left to use. It got really small, u can't see the lump anymore, and it doesn't hurt at all; but i can actually feel a really baby lump it kind of blends with my fat but it is definitely there if i grab onto the small bump and i'll notice it. Ive went to 3 doctors including my hrt doc to ask for more anti-biotics so it is "completely" gone but they all said it is nothing to worry about you do not need anything. They all said it'll go away by itself, but it really hasn't. I don't know whether it has gotten even smaller or not because it is small in the first place, but it is still there. The infection first occurred a month ago or a bit more, and i quickly went to the doc for anti-biotics, stopped 5 days because i lost the meds, and to this day there is still something minimal left. What are the opinions on what i can do? try and grab anti-biotics myself, wait a few more weeks to see if it goes away, might be scar tissue ( though i doubt because it was sub-q )????

Antibiotics suck to take while bbing....be careful bro.....To many screw up good bacteria needed for digestion , affect nitrogen balance apparently, and generally not good while trying to make gains, only use if required....good luck, hope all is well...

I`ve found the only way to make sub q shots go well without having big lumps that lasts more than 4 days is to limit the shots to 1/4 of a cc with a slin pin. Everytime I`ve done 1/2 cc shots I`d have redness and that lump everyone talks about that would last over a week. But apparantly there`s a study out there showing it`s just as effective as IM, it just takes longer. But I even asked Prisonner about this and although he says it`s not impossible it works, he sticks with IM...

oh it works fine, and HRT doctors everywhere are administering this way.... And yes, no cereal box license.....

You need to be leaner I think to avoid the lumps

About being lean... I`m not so sure the patients being prescribed hrt doses are lean so they must be getting bumps and redness then... Any other possibilities of why this happens? I`m not saying what you said isn`t true, just shooting out thoughts...

all I know is that when I was very lean...slight discomfort, no welts, and when I was not so lean, and injected in fat, I got welts that took 1-2 weeks to disperse

Put your hands together in a big wide circle centred around your belly button.Stay out of that area.
